Spin-3/2 to spin-1/2 heavy baryons and pseudoscalar mesons transitions in QCD

2011-06-01
The strong coupling constants of light pseudoscalar mesons with spin-3/2 and spin-1/2 heavy baryons are calculated in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. It is shown that each class of transitions among members of the sextet spin-3/2 to sextet spin-1/2 baryons and that of the sextet spin-3/2 to spin-1/2 anti-triplet baryons is described by only one invariant function. We also estimate the widths of kinematically allowed transitions. Our results on decay widths are in good agreement with the existing experimental data, as well as predictions of other nonperturbative approaches.

Determination of the strong vertices of doubly heavy baryons with pseudoscalar mesons in QCD
Alrebdi, H.; Aliev, T. M.; Şimşek, Kağan (American Physical Society (APS), 2020-10-01)
The strong coupling constant of doubly heavy baryons with light pseudoscalar mesons pi and K are computed within the light cone sum rules. We take into account two-particle and three-particle distribution amplitudes of the said pseudoscalar mesons. We compare our result with the one existing in the literature.
Radiative decays of the p-wave charmed heavy baryons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2019-05-23)
The radiative decays of the p-wave charmed heavy baryons to the ground state baryon states are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. Firstly, the transition form factors that describe these transitions are estimated and then, using these form factors, the corresponding decay widths are calculated. A comparison of our results for the decay widths with those predicted by the other approaches existing in the literature is performed.
Charged lepton electric dipole moments with localized leptons and new Higgs doublet in the two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, E. O. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2007-08-01)
We study the electric dipole moments of the leptons in the split fermion scenario, in the two Higgs doublet model, where the new Higgs scalars are localized around the origin in the extra dimension, with the help of the localizer field. We observe that the numerical value of the electric dipole moment of the electron (muon, tau) is of the order of the magnitude of 10(-31) ( 10(-24), 10(-22)) (e cm), and this quantity is sensitive to the new Higgs localization in the extra dimension.
phi -> KK decay in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2003-11-01)
The coupling constant of phi --> KK decay is calculated by light cone QCD sum rules. The result obtained for g(phiKK) = (4.9 +/- 0.8) is in good agreement with the existing experimental results.
The radiative K* meson decays in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Iltan, E (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1996-06-01)
The g(K0*K0 gamma) and g(K+*K+gamma) coupling constants and the radiative decay widths are calculated in the context of QCD sum rules. It is found that the discrepancy between the experimental data and theoretical results still exists.
