The coupling constant of phi --> KK decay is calculated by light cone QCD sum rules. The result obtained for g(phiKK) = (4.9 +/- 0.8) is in good agreement with the existing experimental results.

CP violation in polarized B -> pi l(+)l(-) and B -> pl(+)l(-) decays
Erkol, G; Wagenaar, JW; Turan, Gürsevil (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2005-05-01)
We study the decay rate and the CP violating asymmetry of the exclusive B -> pi l(+)l(-) and B -> rho l(+)l(-) decays in the case where one of the final leptons is polarized. We calculate the contributions coming from the individual polarization states in order to identify a so-called wrong sign decay, which is a decay with a given polarization, whose width and CP asymmetry are smaller as compared to the unpolarized one. The results are presented for electrons and tau leptons. We observe that in particular ...
Study of the Lambda(b) -> N*l(+)l(-) decay in light cone sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2019-05-03)
The form factors of the bN+- decay are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. In the calculations the contribution of the negative parity b baryon is eliminated by constructing the sum rules for different Lorentz structures. Furthermore the branching ratio of the semileptonic bN+- decay is calculated. The numerical study for the branching ratio of the bN+- decay indicates that it is quite large and could be measurable at future planned experiments to be conducted at LHCb.
Radiative B-* meson decays in QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Pak, NK (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1997-01-01)
The decay constant g(B)* of the B* mesons and the transition amplitudes of the radiative decays B-a* --> B-a gamma are calculated in the frame-work of QCD sum rules. It is shown that the decay rates B* --> B gamma are one order smaller than the corresponding D* meson decays.
Radiative decays of the p-wave charmed heavy baryons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2019-05-23)
The radiative decays of the p-wave charmed heavy baryons to the ground state baryon states are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. Firstly, the transition form factors that describe these transitions are estimated and then, using these form factors, the corresponding decay widths are calculated. A comparison of our results for the decay widths with those predicted by the other approaches existing in the literature is performed.
Magnetic moment of the rho meson in QCD light cone sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2003-09-01)
The magnetic moment mu of the rho meson is studied in QCD light cone sum rules, and it is found that mu=(2.3+/-0.5), in units of e/2m(rho). A comparison of our result on the magnetic moment of the rho meson with the predictions of the other approaches is presented.
