The loop level flavor changing neutral current transitions of the Sigma(b) -> nl(+)l(-) and Sigma(c) -> pl(+)l(-) are investigated in the light cone QCD sum rules approach. Using the most general form of the interpolating current for Sigma(Q), Q - b or c, the transition form factors are calculated using two sets of input parameters entering the nucleon distribution amplitudes, namely, QCD sum rules and lattice QCD inputs. The obtained results are used to estimate the decay rates of the corresponding transitions. Since such type transitions occurred at loop level in the standard model, they can be considered as good candidates to search for the new physics effects beyond the SM.

The loop level flavor changing neutral current transitions of the Sigma(b) -> nl(+)l(-) and Sigma(c) -> p l(+)l(-) are investigated in full QCD and heavy quark effective theory in the light cone QCD sum rules approach. Using the most general form of the interpolating current for E-Q, Q = b or c, the transition form factors are calculated using two sets of input parameters entering the nucleon distribution amplitudes. The obtained results are used to estimate the decay rates of the corresponding transitions.
Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q) transition magnetic moments in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2002-05-01)
Using the general form of Sigma(Q) and Lambda(Q) (Q=b or c) currents, Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q) transition magnetic moments are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. In this approach nonperturbative effects are described by the photon wave functions and only two-particle photon wave functions are taken into account. Our predictions of the transition magnetic moments are mu(Sigmac)Lambda(c)=-(1.5+/-0.4)mu(N) and mu(Sigmab)Lambda(b)=-(1.6+/-0.4)mu(N). A comparison of our results with the...
Radiative decays of negative parity heavy baryons in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules
Agamaliev, A.K.; Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2017-2)
The transition form factors responsible for the radiative Sigma(Q) -> Lambda(Q)gamma and Xi(')(Q) -> Xi(Q)gamma So decays of the negative parity baryons are examined within light cone QCD sum rules. The decay widths of the radiative transitions are calculated using the obtained results of the form factors. A comparison of our predictions on decay widths with the corresponding widths of positive parity baryons is given.
Radiative decays of the heavy flavored baryons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (2009-03-01)
The transition magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of the radiative decays of the sextet heavy flavored spin 3/2 to the heavy spin 1/2 baryons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules approach. Using the obtained results, the decay rate for these transitions are also computed and compared with the existing predictions of the other approaches.
T violation in Lambda b ->Lambda l(+)l(-) decay beyond standard model
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2002-08-29)
Using the most general, model independent form of effective Hamiltonian, the transverse polarization PT of A in Ab Al(+)l(-) decay is studied. It is observed that the averaged (PT) is very sensitive to the existence of new physics and can attain large values, which can be measured at future colliders.
