Incorporation of Different Conjugated Linkers into Low Band Gap Polymers Based on 5,6-Bis(octyloxy)-2,1,3 benzooxadiazole for Tuning Optoelectronic Properties
Goker, SEZA; HIZALAN, Gonul; KUTKAN, Seda; Udum, Yasemin Arslan; Çırpan, Ali; Toppare, Levent Kamil (2016-08-15)
Four new 2,1,3-benzooxadiazole-based donoracceptor conjugated polymers, namely poly{9-(9-heptadecanyl)-9H-carbazole-alt-5,6-bis(octyloxy)-4,7-di(selenophen-2-yl)benzo[ c][1,2,5] oxadiazole)}(PSBSC), poly{9-(9-heptadecanyl)-9H-carbazole- alt-5,6-bis(octyloxy)-4,7-di(furan-2-yl) benzo[c][1,2,5]oxadiazole)}(PFBFC), poly{9,9-dioctyl-9H-fluorene-alt-5,6bis( octyloxy)-4,7-di(selenophen-2-yl) benzo[c][1,2,5] oxadiazole)} (PSBSFL), and poly{9,9-dioctyl-9H-fluorene-alt-5,6-bis(octyloxy)- 4,7-di(furan-2-yl) benzo[c][...

Incorporation of a sequential BMP-2/BMP-7 delivery system into chitosan-based scaffolds for bone tissue engineering
Yilgor, Pinar; Tuzlakoglu, Kadriye; Reis, Rui L.; Hasırcı, Nesrin; Hasırcı, Vasıf Nejat (2009-07-01)
The aim of this study was to develop a 3-D construct carrying an inherent sequential growth factor delivery system. Poly(lactic acid-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanocapsules loaded with bone morphogenetic protein BMP-2 and poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) nanocapsules loaded with BIVIP-7 made the early release of BMP-2 and longer term release of BMP-7 possible. 3-D fiber mesh scaffolds were prepared from chitosan and from chitosan-PEO by wet spinning. Chitosan of 4% concentration in 2% aceti...
Application of Different Zeolites for Improvement of the Characteristics of a pH-FET Biosensor Based on Immobilized Urease
Soldatkin, O. O.; Kucherenko, I. S.; Shelyakina, M. K.; Soy, E.; Kirdeciler, K.; ÖZTÜRK, SEMRA; Jaffrezic-Renault, N.; Akata Kurç, Burcu; Dzyadevych, S. V.; Soldatkin, A. P. (2013-02-01)
Different modifications of the zeolites Na+-Beta and LTA were applied for improving the working characteristics of a urea biosensor. The bioselective membrane of the biosensor was based on urease and different zeolites co-immobilized with bovine serum albumin on the surface of a pH-FET. It was shown that the biosensors modified with the zeolites H+-Beta30 and H+-Beta50 are characterized by increased sensitivity to urea. The influence of the zeolite concentration on the sensitivity of the biosensors was stud...
Integration of a Glutamate Sensitive Genetically Encoded Sensor Protein into Photocrosslinkable Hydrogel Optrodes
Kahyaoğlu, Leyla Nesrin (2016-01-01)
Immobilization into 3D matrices stabilizes proteins in comparison to flat planar surfaces and facilitates the study of the biomolecular interactions as well as integration into optrodes for cell physiology. Photocrosslinkable hydrogels have received significant attention in recent years as they provide not only a highly hydrophilic 3D environment to promote protein stabilization and its interactions with analyte molecules, but enable optically addressable patterning for spatial control of protein localizati...
