The general non-split scalar coset of supergravity theories is discussed. The symmetric space sigma model is studied in two equivalent formulations and for different coset parametrizations. The dualisation and the local first order formulation is performed for the non-split scalar coset G/K when the rigid symmetry group G is a real form of a non-compact semisimple Lie group (not necessarily split) and the local symmetry group K is G's maximal compact subgroup. A comparison with the scalar cosets arising in the T10-D-compactification of the heterotic string theory in ten dimensions is also mentioned.

The omega sigma gamma-vertex in light cone QCD sum rules
Gokalp, A; Yılmaz, Osman (IOP Publishing, 2002-06-01)
We investigate the omegasigmagamma-vertex and estimate the coupling constant g(omegasigmagamma) in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. We compare our result with the values of this coupling constant deduced from a phenomenological analysis of omega --> pipigamma decays.
The semileptonic B to K-1(1270,1400) decays in QCD sum rules
Dag, H.; Özpineci, Altuğ; Zeyrek, Mehmet Tevfik (IOP Publishing, 2011-01-01)
We analyze the semileptonic rare decays of the B meson to K-1(1270) and K-1(1400) axial vector mesons. The B -> K-1(1270, 1400)l(+)l(-) decays are significant flavor-changing neutral current decays of the B meson. These decays are sensitive to the new physics beyond the standard model (SM), since these processes are forbidden at tree level at SM. These decays occurring at the quark level via b -> sl(+)l(-) transition also provide new opportunities for calculating the CKM matrix elements V-bt and V-ts. In th...
The masses and residues of doubly heavy spin-3/2 baryons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (IOP Publishing, 2013-06-01)
The masses and residues of the spin-3/2 doubly heavy baryons are calculated within the QCD sum rules method. A comparison of our predictions with those existing in the literature is also made.
The mass and residues of radially and orbitally excited doubly heavy baryons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Bilmiş, Selçuk (Elsevier BV, 2019-04-01)
The mass and residues of the first radial and orbital excitations of J = 1/2 baryons containing two heavy quarks (b or c) are calculated within the QCD sum rules method. In calculations, the general forms of the interpolating currents with symmetric and anti-symmetric forms with respect to the exchange of heavy quarks have been used. Our results on the spectroscopic parameters of doubly heavy baryons are compared with the predictions of other theoretical approaches.
All bulk and boundary unitary cubic curvature theories in three dimensions
Gullu, Ibrahim; Sisman, Tahsin Cagri; Tekin, Bayram (American Physical Society (APS), 2011-01-26)
We construct all the bulk and boundary unitary cubic curvature parity invariant gravity theories in three dimensions in (anti)-de Sitter spaces. For bulk unitarity, our construction is based on the principle that the free theory of the cubic curvature theory reduces to one of the three known unitary theories which are the cosmological Einstein-Hilbert theory, the quadratic theory of the scalar curvature, or the new massive gravity (NMG). Bulk and boundary unitarity in NMG is in conflict; therefore, cubic th...
