The imaginary part of the matrix element for associative charm particle photoproduction, gamma+N-->Lambda(c)+(D) over bar, has a definite spin structure, near the reaction threshold, being characterized by a single parameter. This allows us to predict, in the framework of an effective Lagrangian approach, the energy and the angular dependence of T-odd polarization observables such as the analyzing power in the reaction gamma+(p) over bar-->Lambda(c) + (D) over bar and the polarization of the Lambda(c) hyperon, produced in the collision of unpolarized particles. We find sizable values for these observables, which can be measured experimentally.

Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q) transition magnetic moments in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2002-05-01)
Using the general form of Sigma(Q) and Lambda(Q) (Q=b or c) currents, Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q) transition magnetic moments are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. In this approach nonperturbative effects are described by the photon wave functions and only two-particle photon wave functions are taken into account. Our predictions of the transition magnetic moments are mu(Sigmac)Lambda(c)=-(1.5+/-0.4)mu(N) and mu(Sigmab)Lambda(b)=-(1.6+/-0.4)mu(N). A comparison of our results with the...
Some finite-dimensional backward shift-invariant subspaces in the ball and a related factorization problem
Alpay, D; Kaptanoglu, HT (2000-12-15)
Beurling's theorem characterizes subspaces of the Hardy space invariant under the forward-shift operator in terms of inner functions. In this Note we consider the case where the ball replaces the open unit desk and the reproducing kernel Hilbert space with reproducing kernel 1/(1-Sigma (N)(1) a(j)w(j)*) replaces the Hardy space. We give explicit formulas which generalize Blaschke products in the case of spaces of finite codimension. (C) 2000 Academie des sciences/Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier...
Time-dependent recursion operators and symmetries
Gurses, M; Karasu, Atalay; Turhan, R (Informa UK Limited, 2002-05-01)
The recursion operators and symmetries of nonautonomous, (1 + 1) dimensional integrable evolution equations are considered. It has been previously observed hat he symmetries of he integrable evolution equations obtained through heir recursion operators do not satisfy the symmetry equations. There have been several attempts to resolve his problem. It is shown that in the case of time-dependent evolution equations or time-dependent recursion operators associativity is lost. Due to this fact such recursion ope...
Magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity J(PC)=2(--) mesons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2018-04-18)
Magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light and heavy tensor mesons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. The results are compared with the positive parity counterparts of the corresponding tensor mesons. The results of the analysis show that the magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light mesons are smaller compared to those of the positive parity mesons. Contrary to the light meson case, magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity heavy mesons are larger than the ...
Chaos from massive deformations of Yang-Mills matrix models
Başkan, K.; Kürkcüoğlu, Seçkin; Oktay, O.; Taşcı, Cankut (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2020-10-01)
We focus on an SU(N) Yang-Mills gauge theory in 0 + 1-dimensions with the same matrix content as the bosonic part of the BFSS matrix model, but with mass deformation terms breaking the global SO(9) symmetry of the latter to SO(5) x SO(3) x Z(2). Introducing an ansatz configuration involving fuzzy four and two spheres with collective time dependence, we examine the chaotic dynamics in a family of effective Lagrangians obtained by tracing over the aforementioned ansatz configurations at the matrix levels N = ...
