Magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light and heavy tensor mesons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. The results are compared with the positive parity counterparts of the corresponding tensor mesons. The results of the analysis show that the magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light mesons are smaller compared to those of the positive parity mesons. Contrary to the light meson case, magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity heavy mesons are larger than the ones for the positive parity mesons.

Magnetic dipole moment of the light tensor mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (IOP Publishing, 2010-07-01)
The magnetic dipole moments of the light tensor mesons f(2), a(2) and the strange K-2*(0)(1430) tensor meson are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that the values of the magnetic dipole moment for the charged tensor particles are considerably different from zero. These values are very close to zero for the light neutral f(2) and a(2) tensor mesons, while it has a small nonzero value for the neutral strange K-2*(0)(1430) tensor meson.
Magnetic moments of J(P)=3/2-baryons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2014-12-29)
The magnetic moments of the low lying, negative parity, spin-3/2 baryons, including the Lambda* baryon, are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. The contributions coming from the positive parity, spin -3/2 baryons, as well as from the positive and negative parity spin -1/2 baryons are eliminated by constructing combinations of various invariant amplitudes corresponding to the coefficients of the different Lorentz structures. We also present the results for the magnetic moments of the posit...
Magnetic moment of the X-Q state with J(PC)=1(++/-) in light cone QCD sumrules
Agamaliev, A. K.; Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2017-02-21)
The magnetic moments of the recently observed resonance X-b(5568) by D0 Collaboration and its partner with charm quark are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules, by assuming that these resonances are represented as tetraquark states with quantum numbers J(PC) = 1(vertical bar +/-). The magnetic moment can play a critical role in the determination of the quantum numbers, as well as give useful information about the inner structure of these mesons.
Magnetic moments of heavy Xi Q baryons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (American Physical Society (APS), 2008-06-01)
The magnetic moments of heavy Xi(Q) baryons containing a single charm or bottom quark are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. A comparison of our results with the predictions of other approaches, such as relativistic and nonrelativistic quark models, the hypercentral model, chiral perturbation theory, and soliton and skyrmion models, is presented.
Magnetic moments of decuplet baryons in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2000-09-01)
We calculate the magnetic moments of decuplet baryons containing strange quarks within the framework of light cone QCD sum rules taking into account the SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking effects. It is obtained that magnetic moments of the neutral Sigma(*0) and Xi(*0) baryons are mainly determined by the SU(3) breaking terms. A comparison of our results on the magnetic moments of the decuplet baryons with the predictions of other approaches is presented.
