Optimism, Cancer Patients’ Depressive Symptoms, and Quality of Life: Mediating Role of Cancer Related Self-efficacy
Akıncı, İrem; Akyüz, Cansu; Bozo Özen, Özlem (2019-09-03)
It was well established that optimistic attitudes in cancer patients predict better psychological and physical adjustment to the illness both during and after the treatment (Mazanec, Daly, Douglas, & Lipson, 2010; Bozo, Gündoğdu, & Büyükaşık-Çolak, 2009). Importantly, the associations of IPV with both depression and suicide ideation became nonsignificant once hope w...

In addition to numerous theoretical conceptualizations and operational measures, investigations between wisdom and other variables such as positive human traits, dispositional, situational, and environmental variables have helped us understand the concept better. The wisdom developme...

Erdost, Türküler; Öner Özkan, Bengi; Department of Psychology (2004)
