On energy imports and short-term prospects of the Turkish economy: A CGE analysis
Ercan, Hakan; Voyvoda, Ebru (Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Ankara, Turkey), 2005-12)
This paper develops a multi-sectoral computable general equilibrium (CGE) model of the Turkish economy, calibrated to 2003 base-year data to scan 2003-2008. The model treats the energy sector independently as in Celasun (1986), who presented an influential, multi-sector computable general equilibrium (CGE) model of the Turkish economy. The data set used in this paper, captures the energy-sector items that are the most relevant in the energy-import bill of the Turkish economy. Utilizing the data set and the ...
On the geodynamics of the Alpine collisional granitoids from Central Anatolia: petrology, age and isotopic characteristics of the granitoids of the Ekecikdag Igneous Association (Aksaray/Turkey)
Toksoy Köksal, Fatma (2019-01-01)
Granitoids of the Ekecikdag Igneous Association (Central Anatolia/Turkey) are products of collisional-post-collisional magmatism in the Ekecikdag area. These granitoids are granodiorite, microgranite and leucogranite. Field relations of granodiorites with microgranites is obscured, but leucogranites intrude both rock types. Mean zircon laser ablation (LA)-ICP-MS Pb-206-U-238 ages of granodiorites and microgranites are 84.52 +/- 0.93 Ma and 80.7 +/- 1.6 Ma, respectively, and age of leucogranites is suggested...
On the Possibility of Autoxidation of TEX - A DFT Study
Türker, Burhan Lemi; Varis, Serhat (2015-02-01)
TEX is an explosive with interesting isowurtzitane cage structure. It exhibits successful explosion performance and good sensitivity. Herein, the tendency of TEX to form hydroperoxide structure under storage conditions was examined by density functional treatment. Additionally the possible decomposition products of the hydroperoxides were investigated. Moreover, the detonation performance values for TEX itself and two isomeric hydroperoxide derivatives were calculated. Detonation products and explosive powe...
