An alternating donor-acceptor copolymer based on a benzotriazole and benzodithiophene was synthesized and selenophene was incorporated as -bridge. The photovoltaic and optical properties of polymer were studied. The copolymer showed medium band gap and dual absorption peaks in UV-Vis absorption spectra.
