Linear model identification for rotorcraft using adaptive learning
Gursoy, Gonenc; Aslandogan, Ongun Hazar; Yavrucuk, İlkay (2021-01-01)
All rights reserved.Convergence to a unique identification result with an optimum model structure is a goal in rotorcraft system identification. Whether using time domain or frequency domain methods, achievement of this target requires additional tools, startup procedures/algorithms or a-priori information about the plant. In this paper, an adaptive learning based methodology is proposed to improve parameter convergence. The bounded convergence is guaranteed and robust to initial conditions even when there...
Nonlinear viscoelastic material property estimation for lower extremity residual limbs
Tönük, Ergin (null; 1999-12-01)
Human soft tissue is known to exhibit a nonlinear stress-strain relationship, as well as time dependent behavior such as creep and relaxation. The ability of computer models to simulate the response of lower extremity soft tissue loading is dependent on how well the tissue material properties approximate actual tissue behavior. Axisymmetric finite element models of residual limb soft tissue in the vicinity of an indentor test site were constructed to estimate parameters of a viscoelastic material formulatio...

Vector leptoquark search in the process e(+)e(-)->t(t)over-bar
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Iltan, E; Pak, NK (IOP Publishing, 1996-05-01)
We study the possibility of detecting the vector leproquark at a linearly polarized e(+)e(-) collider when the coupling constant with the electron and the top quark is equal to the weak coupling of the standard model. We estimate the upper bounds for the vector leptoquark mass and analyse the spin asymmetries.
