© 2021 IEEE.AUTORFPOWER software has been developed for automatic RF power measurement at microwave frequencies. In this study, the capabilities of AUTORFPOWER are explained and compared with commercial alternatives. The advantages of the developed software to metrological works and its contributions to future metrological RD are discussed.

Mobile monitoring system to take nationwide PQ measurements on electricity transmission systems
Salor, Oe; Buhan, S.; Uensar, Oe; Boyrazoglu, B.; Altintas, E.; Atalik, T.; Haliloglu, B.; Inan, T.; Kalaycioglu, A.; Terciyanli, A.; Acik, A.; Demirci, T.; Oezdemirci, E.; Cadirci, I.; Ermiş, Muammer (2009-05-01)
This paper describes mobile power quality monitoring systems developed to carry out extensive power quality (PQ) measurements nationwide, in addition to instrumentation and measurement technologies used in those systems. The developed systems have been used to measure the PQ of the Turkish Electricity Transmission System, which is among the largest transmission systems in Europe. To make trouble-shooting studies at the problematic measurement points in terms of PQ different measuring instruments and a wide ...
Calibration Quality Analysis of Phased Array Antennas
Kilic, Ozgehan; Yalim, Alper; Cetintepe, Cagri; Demir, Şimşek (2012-07-14)
A phased array antenna (PAA) system can be calibrated by using several methods. In general, the aim of this calibration is to guarantee that the systematic errors are diminished. Still there can be residual errors due to the random errors in the system. These residual errors may decrease the correction accuracy of the calibration. This correction accuracy can be quantified as a quality factor. In this paper, quality of the Rotating Electric-Field Vector (REV) calibration method is examined with a statistica...
National PQ monitoring network for Turkish electricity transmission system
Demirci, Turan; Kalaycioglu, Alper; Salor, Oezguel; Pakhuylu, Serkan; Dagli, Mehmet; Kara, Tugberk; Aksueyek, Hasan S.; Topcu, Cigdem; Polat, Beyhan; Bilgen, Semih; SEZEN, UMUT; Cadirci, Isik; Ermiş, Muammer (2007-05-03)
In this paper a nationwide power quality monitoring system, which computes and collects PQ parameters and the required waveforms at a power quality monitoring center for both the purposes of early warning and later analysis of power quality of the whole transmission system, is presented. The system consists of three basic units: PQ monitors connected to various transformer substations all over the country; a national PQ monitoring center which communicates with all PQ monitors regularly, receives PQ data an...
Highly Integrated 3 V Supply Electronics for Electromagnetic Energy Harvesters With Minimum 0.4 V-peak Input
Ulusan, Hasan; Zorlu, Ozge; Muhtaroglu, Ali; Külah, Haluk (2017-07-01)
This paper presents a self-powered interface enabling battery-like operation with a regulated 3 V output from ac signals as low as 0.4 V-peak, generated by electromagnetic energy harvesters under low frequency vibrations. As the first stage of the 180 nm standard CMOS circuit, harvested signal is rectified through an ac/dc doubler with active diodes powered internally by a passive ac/dc quadrupler. The voltage is boosted in the second stage through a low voltage charge pump stimulated by an on-chip ring osc...
A Self-Powered and Efficient Rectifier for Electromagnetic Energy Harvesters
Ulusan, Hasan; Zorlu, Ozge; Muhtaroglu, Ali; Külah, Haluk (2014-11-05)
This paper presents an interface circuit for efficient rectification of voltages from electromagnetic (EM) energy harvesters operating with very low vibration frequencies. The interface utilizes a dual-rail AC/DC doubler which benefits from the full cycle of the input AC voltage, and minimizes the forward bias voltage drop with an active diode structure. The active diodes are powered through an AC/DC quadrupler with diode connected (passive) transistors. The interface system has been validated to drive 22 m...
