This study will measure the effects of the natural gas cut on Germany and the scenarios that may occur if the gas, which acts as the rudder of the German energy supply, will partially be removed from production and set to 10% in the net installed capacity. In the gap created by natural gas, possible scenarios will be produced for Germany, and it will be tried to fill that gap with biomass, coal, and lignite-based energy in its current installed capacity using the capacity factors. According to the scenarios, replacing natural gas with solely hard coal gives the cheapest outcome of €3.78 billion, and replacing gas with solely biomass gives the most expensive outcome of €6.34 billion. Furthermore, we will devise possible scenarios considering dispatchability and load following problems as well as their real-life cost analyses. The potential scenarios will be examined by considering Germany's position in the energy network and its interconnectedness, changes in the energy load, cost, and social cost of carbon analysis.
