Recent developments under Industry 4.0 allows to collect and analyze measurements during milling process. For such projects to be done, software needs to be developed. Developing software through testing is expensive and tedious. In this study, milling dynamics is simulated through Matlab Simulink. In order to explain dynamics of the process, literature research has been conducted to select suitable models and merged with chip regeneration model. For force model, linear force model and Martellotti static chip thickness model has been selected. For transfer functions, hammer tests conducted on the milling machine that experiments is done on and modal analysis is applied on obtained Frequency Response Functions (FRFs). For workpiece material, AL7075 has been selected and force coefficients has been obtained from another study that was conducted by authors. Cutting tests has been performed and acceleration of workpiece at X and Y directions are measured in order to be compared to simulation output which confirms the model.
