The radiative decays B*(D*)-->B(D)gamma are investigated in the framework of light-cone QCD sum rules. The transition amplitude and decay rates are estimated. It is shown that our results for the branching ratios of D meson decays are in good agreement with the existing experimental data.

Radiative decays of decuplet to octet baryons in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2006-01-02)
The radiative decays of decuplet to octet baryons are analyzed within the light cone QCD sum rules framework. The electromagnetic transition form factors for these decays are calculated at q(2) = 0 up to twist-4 accuracy for photon wave functions and including first order strange quark mass corrections. A comparison of our results with predictions of lattice theory and existing experimental data is presented. (c) 2005 Published by Elsevier B.V.
Radiative B-* meson decays in QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Pak, NK (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1997-01-01)
The decay constant g(B)* of the B* mesons and the transition amplitudes of the radiative decays B-a* --> B-a gamma are calculated in the frame-work of QCD sum rules. It is shown that the decay rates B* --> B gamma are one order smaller than the corresponding D* meson decays.
Radiative Delta -> N gamma decay in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (1999-12-01)
The g(Delta N gamma) coupling for the Delta-->N gamma decay is calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules and is found to be g(Delta N gamma)=(1.6+/-0.2) GeV-1. Using this value of g(Delta N gamma) we estimate the branching ratio of the Delta(+)-->N gamma decay, which is in a very good agreement with the experimental result. [S0556-2821(99)02023-8].
Optical properties of some quaternary thallium chalcogenides
Gökşen, Kadir; Hasanlı, Nızamı; Department of Physics (2008)
Optical properties of Tl4In3GaSe8, Tl4InGa3Se8, Tl4In3GaS8, Tl2InGaS4 and Tl4InGa3S8 chain and layered crystals were studied by means of photoluminescence (PL) and transmission-reflection experiments. Several emission bands were observed in the PL spectra within the 475-800 nm wavelength region. The results of the temperature- and excitation intensity-dependent PL measurements in 15-300 K and 0.13×10-3-110.34 W cm-2 ranges, respectively, suggested that the observed bands were originated from the recombinati...
Radiative decays of the heavy tensor mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2019-01-11)
The transition form factors of the radiative decays of the heavy tensor mesons to heavy pseudoscalar and heavy vector mesons are calculated in the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules method at the point Q(2) = 0. Using the obtained values of the transition form factors at the point Q(2) = 0, the corresponding decay widths are estimated. The results show that the radiative decays of the heavy-light tensor mesons could potentially be measured in the future planned experiments at LHCb.
