This article describes the construction of photoelectrochemical cell system splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using UV-vis light under constant applied voltage. Oligoaniline-crosslinked 2-(4-aminobenzyl)malonic acid functionalized IrO2 center dot nH(2)O nanoparticles and visible light absorbing dye, [Ru(bpy)(2)(bpyCONHArNH(2))(+2)] arrays on titanium dioxide (TiO2) photonic crystals modified electrodes were used as photoanode, and nanostructures based on bonding of Pt nanoparticles by using electropo...

A control system for hydraulic single axis durability test rig
Çalışkan, Hakan; Balkan, Raif Tuna; Platin, Bülent Emre; Konukseven, Erhan İlhan (2012-10-19)
In this study, a controller is designed for a hydraulic actuator of a single axis durability test rig. The mathematical equations of the system are derived and a MATLAB Simulink (R) model is developed. The non-linear equations defining the system dynamics are linearized and the system is represented in state space. For the position control of the hydraulic actuator, a combined feedforward and feedback controller is designed. The feedforward controller estimates the force transmitted between the vehicle and ...
