The fact that the measured B -> pi pi, pi K branching ratios exhibit puzzling patterns has received a lot of attention in the literature and motivated the formulation of a series of new physics scenarios with enhanced Z-penguins. Here, we analyze the effect of such an enhancement on the lepton polarization asymmetries of B-s -> gamma l(+)l(-) decays by applying the results of a specific scenario for the solution of "B - pi K puzzle".

The Lukash plane-wave attractor and relative energy
Korunur, Murat; Salti, Mustafa; Aydogdu, Oktay (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2007-07-10)
We study energy distribution in the context of teleparallel theory of gravity, due to matter and fields including gravitation, of the universe based on the plane-wave Bianchi VII(delta) spacetimes described by the Lukash metric. For this calculation, we consider the teleparallel gravity analogs of the energy momentum formulations of Einstein, Bergmann-Thomson and Landau-Lifshitz. We find that Einstein and Bergmann-Thomson prescriptions agree with each other and give the same results for the energy distribut...
The Lorentz and CPT violating effects on H-o -> f(+)f(-) (ZZ, W+W-) decays
Iltan, EO (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2004-02-10)
We study the Lorentz and CPT violating effects on the ratio BRLorVio/Br-SM where BRLorVio (BRSM) is the branching ratios coming from the Lorentz violating effects (the SM), for the decays H-0 --> f(+)f(-) (f = quarks and charged leptons) and H-0 --> ZZ(W+W-). We observe that these new effects are too small to be detected, especially for f(+)f(-) output, since the corresponding coefficients are highly suppressed at the low energy scale.
The effects of non-universal extra dimensions on the fermion electric dipole moments in the two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, EO (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2004-04-01)
We study the the effects of non-universal extra dimensions on the electric dipole moments of fermions in the two Higgs doublet model. We observe that the t quark and b quark electric dipole moments are sensitive to the extra dimensions, however, in the case of charged lepton electric dipole moments, this sensitivity is relatively weak.
Combined search for supersymmetry with photons in proton-proton collisions at root s=13 TeV
Sirunyan, A. M.; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2020-02-01)
A combination of four searches for new physics involving signatures with at least one photon and large missing transverse momentum, motivated by generalized models of gauge-mediated supersymmetry (SUSY) breaking, is presented. All searches make use of proton-proton collision data at root s = 13 TeV, which were recorded with the CMS detector at the LHC in 2016, and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb(-1). Signatures with at least one photon and large missing transverse momentum are categorized ...
Search for large extra dimensions in dimuon and dielectron events in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2012-05-01)
Results are presented from a search for large, extra spatial dimensions in events with either two isolated muons or two isolated electrons. The data are from proton-proton interactions at root s = 7 TeV collected with the CMS detector at the LHC. The size of the data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of approximately 2 fb(-1). The observed dimuon and dielectron mass spectra are found to be consistent with standard-model expectations. Depending on the number of extra dimensions, the 95% confiden...
