Under the supply chain financial model, financial institutions (such as commercial banks) no longer supply directly to financing companies, but instead face the entire supply chain. Now this model has become a new area to solve the financing difficulties of SMEs. In the supply chain finance system, each node on the chain can pursue its own best interests. The core nodes (commercial banks, small and medium-sized enterprises, third-party logistics companies) can coor-dinate and monitor their behavior with each other, and can achieve mutual benefit and efficient operation of the supply chain. This paper studies the theory of meshless partial differential equa-tions (MPDE), and uses game theory and information economics theories and methods to establish corresponding multiparty game models. The application of this game model to the members of sup-ply chain finance was explored. Mathematical derivation and example analysis prove that the model is reasonable, and it also provides a way to make the supply chain operate most efficiently and max-imize the benefits.

Joint quantity flexibility for multiple products in a decentralized supply chain
Karakaya, Selcuk; Bakal, İsmail Serdar (2013-02-01)
In this study, we analyze a decentralized supply chain with a single retailer and a single manufacturer where the retailer sells multiple products in a single period. The products differ in terms of a limited number of features only. The retailer places initial orders based on preliminary demand forecasts at the beginning of the period and has an opportunity to modify its initial order after receiving perfect demand information. However, the final orders of the retailer are constrained by its initial orders...
Closing the loop in supply chains: Economic and environmental effects
Alegoz, Mehmet; Kaya, Onur; Bayındır, Zeynep Pelin (2020-04-01)
Over the past years, companies started to close the loop in their supply chains to comply with the regulations and increase the sustainability of their systems. In this study, we focus on the economic and environmental effects of closing the loop in supply chains in terms of total supply chain cost and carbon emission. We consider demand, return rate and returned product quality uncertainties simultaneously and propose a set of two-stage stochastic programming models for both forward and closed-loop supply ...
Closed-loop supply chain network design under demand, return and quality uncertainty
Batun, Sakine (2018-07-08)
We consider the problem of designing a closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) network in the presence of uncertainty in demand quantities, return rates, and quality of the returned products. We formulate the problem as a two-stage stochastic mixed-integer program (SMIP) that maximizes the total expected profit. The first-stage decisions in our model are facility location and capacity decisions, and the second-stage decisions are the forward/backward flows on the network and hence the production/recovery quantities...
Closed-loop supply chain network design under demand, return and quality uncertainty

Statistical methods in credit rating
Sezgin, Özge; Yıldırak, Şahap Kasırga; Department of Financial Mathematics (2006)
Credit risk is one of the major risks banks and financial institutions are faced with. With the New Basel Capital Accord, banks and financial institutions have the opportunity to improve their risk management process by using Internal Rating Based (IRB) approach. In this thesis, we focused on the internal credit rating process. First, a short overview of credit scoring techniques and validation techniques was given. By using real data set obtained from a Turkish bank about manufacturing firms, default predi...
