One-step synthesis of chlorohydrins via boron trifluoride-mediated reaction of styrene derivatives with tetrabutylammonium acetate in dichloromethane
Isleyen, A; Doğan, Özdemir (2005-08-28)
One-step synthesis of hierarchical [B]-ZSM-5 using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as mesoporogen
Yalcin, Busra Karakaya; İpek Torun, Bahar (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, 2020-01-01)
One-step facile synthesis of boron containing ZSM-5 microspheres is developed using 1,6-diaminohexane as the structure-directing agent and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as the mesoporogen. High boron incorporation up to Si/B ratio of 38 is achieved and evidenced by the stretching vibrations of B-O-Si at 667 cm(-1) and 917 cm(-1) using Fourier-transform infrared spectra. The morphology of the crystals resembles berry-like spheres with sizes approximately 15 mu m, which is composed of aggregated nanocrystals...
One-step synthesis of N-doped metal/biochar composite using NH3-ambiance pyrolysis for efficient degradation and mineralization of Methylene Blue
Mian, Md Manik; Liu, Guijian; Yousaf, Balal; Fu, Biao; Ahmed, Rafay; Abbas, Qumber; Munir, Mehr Ahmed Mujtaba; Liu Ruijia, Liu Ruijia (2019-04-01)
A series of new biochar-supported composite based on the combination of biochar and metallic nanoparticles (NPs) were produced through single-step pyrolysis of FeCl3-Ti(OBu)(4) laden agar biomass under NH3 environment. The physiochemical properties of composites were characterized thoroughly. It has found that heating temperature and N-doping through NH3-ambiance pyrolysis significantly influence the visible-light sensitivity and bandgap energy of composites. The catalytic activities of composites were meas...
One-Pot Synthesis of Spiro-2H-pyrroles fromN-Propargylic beta-Enaminones
KARADENİZ, EDA; Zora, Metin (Georg Thieme Verlag KG, 2019-06-01)
A simple and general one-pot method for the synthesis of spiro-2 H -pyrroles has been developed. Initially, cyclohexane-embedded -enaminones with internal alkyne functionality were synthesized by conjugate addition of 1-ethynylcyclohexylamine to ,-alkynic ketones, followed by palladium-catalyzed coupling of the resulting N -propargylic -enaminones with aryl iodides. When subjected to basic conditions, the cyclohexane-embedded -enaminones with internal alkyne functionality underwent tandem nucleophilic cycli...
One-pot synthesis of chloroalcohols and their lipase mediated kinetic resolution - ferrocenyl aziridinylmethanols as chiral ligands in enantioselective conjugate diethylzinc addition to enones
İşleyen, Alper; Doğan, Özdemir; Department of Chemistry (2007)
An unexpected tricyclic ether formation instead of acetate addition to the double bond of a norbornene derivative aroused our interest to explore the mechanism of this reaction. Mechanistic studies showed that methylene diacetate (MDA) was formed in the stock solution (NBu4OAc + dichloromethane) and decomposed to formaldehyde under Lewis or Brønsted acid conditions. Formaldehyde and olefin condensation (Prins reaction) clearly explains the formation of the unexpected product. Same methodology was then succe...
