In the present work we study the effects of an unparticle U as the possible source of missing energy in the decay B -> K(K*) + missing energy. We find that the dependence of the differential branching ratio on the K(K*)-meson's energy in the presence of the vector unparticle operators is very distinctive from that of the SM. Moreover, in using the existing upper bound on B -> K(K*) + missing energy decays, we have been able to put more stringent constraints on the parameters of unparticle stuff.

B-s ->tau(+)tau(-) decay in the general two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, EO; Turan, Gürsevil (2002-11-01)
We study the exclusive decay B-s --> tau(+)tau(-) in the general two Higgs doublet model. We analyse the dependencies of the branching ratio on the model parameters, including the leading order QCD corrections. We found that there is an enhancement in the branching ratio, especially for r(tb) = (xi) over bar (U)(N,tt)/(xi) over bar (D)(N,bb) > 1 case. Further, the neutral Higgs effects are detectable for large values of the parameter (xi) over bar (D)(N,tautau).
Double-lepton polarization asymmetries and branching ratio of the B -> gamma l(+)l(-) transition in universal extra dimension
AZİZİ, KAZEM; Pak, N. K.; ŞİRVANLI, BERİN BELMA (2012-02-01)
We study the radiative dileptonic B ->gamma l(+)l(-) transition in the presence of a universal extra dimension in the Applequist-Cheng-Dobrescu model. In particular, using the corresponding form factors calculated via light cone QCD sum rules, we analyze the branching ratio and double lepton polarization asymmetries related to this channel and compare the results with the predictions of the standard model. We show how the results deviate from predictions of the standard model at lower values of the compacti...
B -> K(2)l(+)l(-) decay beyond the standard model
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2012-01-18)
The exclusive B -> K(2)l(+)l(-) decay is studied using the most general, model independent four-fermion interaction. The sensitivity of the ratio of the decay widths when K-2 meson is longitudinally and transversally polarized, the forward-backward asymmetry and longitudinal polarization of the final lepton on the new Wilson coefficients is studied. It is found that these quantities are very useful for establishing new physics beyond the standard model.
B-s ->gamma gamma decay in the two Higgs doublet model with flavor changing neutral currents
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (1998-11-01)
We calculate the leading logarithmic QCD corrections to the decay B-s --> gamma gamma in the two Higgs doublet model with tree level flavor changing currents (modeI III) including O-7 type long distance effects. Further, we analyze the dependences of the branching ratio B(B-s --> gamma gamma) and the ratio of CP-even and CP-odd amplitude squares, R = \A(+)\(2)/\A(-)\(2), on the charged Higgs boson mass m(H+/-) and the selected model III parameters xi(U,D) including the leading logarithmic QCD corrections. I...
b -> s gamma decay in the two Higgs doublet model with flavour changing neutral currents
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (IOP Publishing, 1999-05-01)
We study the b --> s gamma decay including the next-to-leading QCD corrections in the two Higgs doublet model with flavour changing neutral currents at the tree level. We find the constraints to the flavour changing parameters of the model, using the experimental results on the branching ratio of B --> X(s)gamma decay, provided by the CLEO Collaboration. The restrictions coming from the Delta F = 2 (F = K, D, B) mixing and the rho parameter.
