We calculate here using the mean field theory, the phase-line equations for the gamma-beta, delta-beta and delta-gamma phase transitions in the NH4BrxCl1-x system. We fit our P-T phase diagrams calculated at various concentrations to the experimental data for this crystalline system. Our results show that there is a good agreement between our calculated and experimentally observed phase diagrams for the NH4BrxCl1-x system.

T-X phase diagram of (NH4)(2)SO4/H2O
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Sen, S.; Salihoglu, S. (2007-04-01)
Using the mean field theory, we obtain the phase line equations for the liquid-solid I, liquid-solid II and solid I-solid II transitions in (NH4)(2)SO4/H2O. We fit our phase line equations to the experimental T-X phase diagram of this system. Thus, we are able to obtain the temperature and concentration dependencies of the order parameters and the free energies in this system.
T-X-Br phase diagram for the NH4BrxCl1-x system
Tari, O; Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Salihoglu, S (Informa UK Limited, 2000-01-01)
In this study using a mean field model we calculate the phase line equations for the beta-delta, beta-gamma and gamma-delta phase transitions in the NH4BrxCl1-x system. We then fit our phase line equations to the experimentally observed T-X-Br phase diagram for this system. Our calculated phase diagram agrees well with the observed one for the NH4BrxCl1-x system.
P-T phase diagram for NH4F
Salihoglu, S; Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Enginer, Y (2002-04-01)
In this study we obtain a P-T phase diagram of NH4F using the mean-field theory. We fit our calculated phase line equations to the experimental P-T phase diagram. By choosing appropriately the coefficients in the free-energy expansions. our calculated phase diagram agrees well with the experimentally observed phase diagram of NH4F. A phase diagram near the NAC point in liquid crystals
Salihoglu, S; Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Enginer, Y (2002-07-01)
In this study using a mean field model we obtain the phase line equations for the NA. NC and AC transitions near the NAC point in a mixture of liquid crystals. We then fit these phase line equations to the experimental data. This fitting shows that our theoretical phase diagram predicts the correct experimental behaviour of the phase diagram in a mixture of liquid crystals.
T-P phase diagram of ammonia solid phases I, II and III
Enginer, Y; Salihoglu, S; Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (2002-01-01)
In this study, using the mean field theory, we obtain temperature versus pressure phase diagram for the liquid and solid phases I, II, and III of ammonia. We fit, our phase line equations to the experimentally observed data. There exists good agreement between the theoretical and experimental phase lines.
