Consistency of the Born approximation for the spin-1/2 Aharonov-Bohm scattering

The relativistic scattering of a spin-1/2 particle from an infinitely long solenoid is considered in the framework of covariant perturbation theory. The first order term agrees with the corresponding term in the series expansion of the exact amplitude, and second order term vanishes, thus proving that the Born approximation is consistent.

We investigate and compare different representations of the Riesz derivative, which plays an important role in anomalous diffusion and space fractional quantum mechanics. In this work, solution of the Electro-magnetic source imaging forward problem is formulated using the reciprocity theorem. Lead field solutions for electrode potentials and sensor magnetic fields are computed for a realistic head model using the Finite Element Method.
