This study has been developed for electron-proton scattering experiments when only the scattered electrons are detected. Pion electroproduction on the proton including the cascade pi(o) --> 2 gamma decay and the QED radiative corrections to elastic ep scattering are investigated. Our results are shown in the kinematical configuration of the parity violating electron scattering experiment planned at the Mainz Microtron (MAMI).

Radiative decays of decuplet to octet baryons in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2006-01-02)
The radiative decays of decuplet to octet baryons are analyzed within the light cone QCD sum rules framework. The electromagnetic transition form factors for these decays are calculated at q(2) = 0 up to twist-4 accuracy for photon wave functions and including first order strange quark mass corrections. A comparison of our results with predictions of lattice theory and existing experimental data is presented. (c) 2005 Published by Elsevier B.V.
Octet negative parity to octet positive parity electromagnetic transitions in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (IOP Publishing, 2014-07-01)
Light cone QCD sum rules for the electromagnetic transition form factors among positive and negative parity octet baryons are derived. The unwanted contributions of the diagonal transitions among positive parity octet baryons are eliminated by combining the sum rules derived from different Lorentz structures. The Q(2) dependence for the transversal and longitudinal helicity amplitudes are studied.
RPA instabilities in finite nuclei at low density
Jacquot, B; Colonna, M; Ayik, S; Chomaz, P (Elsevier BV, 1997-05-12)
Early development of the instabilities in a dilute nuclear source is investigated using a finite temperature quantal RPA approach for different systems, The growth rates of the unstable collective modes are determined by solving a dispersion relation, which is obtained by parametrizing the transition density in terms of its multipole moments. Under typical conditions of a dilute finite system at moderate temperatures the dispersion relation exhibits an ultraviolet cut-off. As a result, only a finite number ...
Exclusive B ->rho l(+)l(-) decay and polarized lepton pair forward-backward asymmetries
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2006-02-01)
The polarized lepton pair forward-backward asymmetries in B ->rho l(+)l(-) decay using a general, model independent form of the four-Fermi interaction is studied. The general expressions for nine double-lepton polarization forward-backward asymmetries are calculated. The study of the forward-backward asymmetries of the doubly polarized lepton pair proves to be a very useful tool in looking for new physics beyond the standard model.
Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q)pi coupling constant in light cone QCD sum rules
Azizi, K.; Bayar, M.; Özpineci, Altuğ (American Physical Society (APS), 2009-03-01)
The strong coupling constants g(Sigma Q)Lambda(Q)pi (Q=b and c) are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules using the most general form of the baryonic currents. The predicted coupling constants are used to estimate the decay widths for the Sigma(Q)->Lambda(Q)pi decays which are compared with the predictions of the other approaches and existing experimental data.
