The purpose of this study was to examine the university students' Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) behaviors in terms of specific demographics, namely, gender, age, grade level, department, daily average Internet usage time, daily average mobile phone usage time, and daily average social media usage time. Data were gathered from 1226 university students in Ankara, Turkey through using FoMO scale with employing convenience sampling method. The scale was originally developed by Przybyiski et al. (2013) and then it has been adapted into Turkish culture by Gokler et al. (2016). There were 10 items in a 5-point Likert-type scale. Independent samples t-test and correlation analyses were conducted to analyze the data. The results indicated that there was no significant mean difference between female and male university students with respect to FoMO behaviors. In addition, while there was a significant positive relationship between FoMO and daily average mobile phone usage time and daily average social media usage time of university students, there was a significant negative relationship between FoMO and age of university students.
