Cobalt(II) tetraphenylporphyrin (CoTPP)-catalyzed rearrangement of peroxide 11 obtained by the photooxygenation of 5 gave a mixture of epoxides 15 (or 16) and 17. However, CoTPP-catalyzed rearrangement of peroxide 20 arising by photooxygenation of 2,3-dimethylene-1,4-etheno-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalane 6 gave 1,4-etheno-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphtho[b]-furan 21. The different behaviour of these endoperoxides 11 and 20 is discussed in terms of ring strain and the degree of the pyramidalization of the C=C bond

We calculate the penguin-induced form factor for the B --> etal(+)l(-) decay. This form factor is calculated by light cone QCD sum rules, including contributions from wave functions up to twist-4 as well as mass corrections of the light eta meson.

The mass of the top quark is measured using a sample of t (t) over bar candidate events with at least six jets in the final state. The sample is selected from data collected with the CMS detector in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV in 2011 and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.54 fb(-1). Geomembrane-geotextile interface shear strength parameters were measured using inclined board (tilting table), standard size (60 mm x 60 mm) and large-scale (300 mm x 300 mm) direct shear box tests. Smooth and rough HDPE, PVC geomembranes and nonwoven needle-punched geotextiles were used in the experiments.
