In this paper magnetic dipole moment form factor, G(M)((2))(Q(2)), describing the radial excitation of decuplet baryons to octet baryons electromagnetic transitions as well as the ratios, RSM = - 1/4m(2)(2) root 4(m2)(Q)(2)(2) + (m(2)(2) - Q(2) - m(1)(2))2 G(C)((2))(Q(2))/ G(M)((2))(Q(2)) and R-EM = -G(E)((2))(Q(2)) G(M)((2))(Q(2)) are calculated in the framework of light-cone sum rules. We also estimate the degree of the violation of U-spin symmetry.

Radiative decays of the heavy flavored baryons in light cone QCD sum rules

The transition magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of the radiative decays of the sextet heavy flavored spin 3/2 to the heavy spin 1/2 baryons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules approach. Using the obtained results, the decay rate for these transitions are also computed and compared with the existing predictions of the other approaches.
Strong coupling constants of the octet baryons to Kand pi mesons in light cone QCD sum rules

In this work, the strong coupling constants of the octet baryons to the K and pi mesons are studied within the Light Cone QCD sum rule method. It is well known that in the SU(3)(f) limit, these couplings can be expressed in terms of only 2 constants, so called F and D constants. In this work, the SU(3)(f) symmetry violating effects are also studied and it is shown that all the coupling constants can be expressed in terms of four analytical functions of the quark parameters.
Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q) transition magnetic moments in light cone QCD sum rules

Using the general form of Sigma(Q) and Lambda(Q) (Q=b or c) currents, Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q) transition magnetic moments are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. In this approach nonperturbative effects are described by the photon wave functions and only two-particle photon wave functions are taken into account. Diagonal and transition magnetic moments of the negative parity, spin-1/2 heavy baryons are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. By constructing the sum rules for different Lorentz structures, the unwanted contributions coming from negative-to-positive (positive-to-negative) parity transitions are removed.
