Performance of modified thermoplastic poly(ether)ester elastomer in multilayer composites
Yaşar, Miray; Bayram, Göknur; Çelebi, Hande; Department of Chemical Engineering (2014)
Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) have extensive use of areas because of their unique structure due to having both hard and soft segments together in their structure. However, their disadvantages such as high cost of raw materials, low thermal stability and difficult processing in extrusion because of having low melting viscosity restrict their use in industrial applications. The main objective of this study is to modify multifunctional properties of one class of TPE, thermoplastic poly(ether)ester elastomer ...
Performance of Acidic MCM-Like Aluminosilicate Catalysts in Pyrolysis of Polypropylene
Obali, Zeynep; Sezgi, Naime Aslı; Doğu, Timur (2009-01-01)
Mesoporous aluminosilicate catalysts having different Al/Si ratios were synthesized following a hydrothermal synthesis route and using different aluminum sources, such as aluminum nitrate and aluminum isopropoxide. These mesoporous materials have high surface areas, in the range of 520-1001 m(2)/g, and exhibit Type IV nitrogen adsorption isotherms. EDS and Al-27 MAS NMR results showed that aluminum was incorporated more effectively into the structure of the catalyst forming a tetrahedral framework when alum...
Performance of One-Bit Massive MIMO With Oversampling Under Adjacent Channel Interference
Üçüncü, Ali Bulut; Johansson, Hakan; Yılmaz, Ali Özgür (2019-01-01)
Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems have attracted much attention lately due to the many advantages they provide over single-antenna systems. Owing to the many antennas, low-cost implementation and low power consumption per antenna are desired. To that end, massive MIMO structures with one-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADC) have been investigated in many studies. However, the effect of a strong interferer in the adjacent band on one-bit quantized massive MIMO systems have not been exam...
