The clinical applicability of magnetic resonance current density imaging (MRCDI) is highly dependent on the sensitivity of the acquired current-induced magnetic flux density (˜Bz) distribution. Here, the combined effect of relevant parameters of the ICNE-SPGE pulse sequence on the SNR leveland the total acquisition time of the˜Bz images are analyzed. The optimized sequence parameters are estimated to acquire˜Bz images with the highestpossible SNR for a given acquisition time or the desired SNR in the shortest scan time. Besides, alternative sequence parameters are estimated toacquire the same SNR level for a given acquisition time.

Realization of magnetic resonance current density imaging at 3 Tesla,
Göksu, Cihan; SADIGHI, MEHDI; Eyüboğlu, Behçet Murat (2014-08-26)
Magnetic Resonance Current Density Imaging (MRCDI) is an imaging modality, which reconstructs electrical current density distribution inside a material by using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques. In this study, a current source with maximum current injection capability of 224.7mA, under 1k Omega resistive load is used. Experiments are performed with a 2D uniform phantom, in which a current steering insulator is inserted. Magnetic flux density distributions are measured, and current density images ...
Optimization of open-tube furnace diffusion with Bbr3 liquid source for industrial p-type boron doping process
Orhan, Efe; Kökbudak, Gamze; Semiz, Emel; Es, Fırat; Turan, Raşit (Middle East Technical University; 2018-07-06)
In this study, optimization of boron emitter for n-type crystalline Si solar cells has been studied in detail. Industrial open-tube (atmospheric) furnace with BBr3 as liquid B source was utilized which is a preferred dopant for the diffusion process of n-type wafers in industry [1] [2]. During the processes, full boat (270 wafers) n-type square samples were used to investigate the uniformity from gas zone to door zone and inside the wafer. To achieve uniform boron emitters on large n-type substrates, parame...
Analysis of reconstruction performance of magnetic resonance conductivity tensor imaging (MRCTI) using simulated measurements
DEĞİRMENCİ, EVREN; Eyüboğlu, Behçet Murat (2017-01-01)
Magnetic resonance conductivity tensor imaging (MRCTI) was proposed recently to produce electrical conductivity images of anisotropic tissues. Similar to magnetic resonance electrical impedance tomography (MREIT), MRCTI uses magnetic field and boundary potential measurements obtained utilizing magnetic resonance imaging techniques. MRCTI reconstructs tensor images of anisotropic conductivity whereas MREIT reconstructs isotropic conductivity images. In this study, spatial resolution and linearity of five rec...
Experimental results for 2D magnetic resonance electrical impedance tomography (MR-EIT) using magnetic flux density in one direction
Birgul, O; Eyüboğlu, Behçet Murat; Ider, YZ (IOP Publishing, 2003-11-07)
Magnetic resonance electrical impedance tomography (MR-EIT) is an emerging imaging technique that reconstructs conductivity images using magnetic flux density measurements acquired employing MRI together with conventional EIT measurements. In this study, experimental MR-EIT images from phantoms with conducting and insulator objects are presented. The technique is implemented using the 0.15 T Middle East Technical University MRI system. The dc current method used in magnetic resonance current density imaging...
Measurement of the production cross section for pairs of isolated photons in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2012-01-01)
The integrated and differential cross sections for the production of pairs of isolated photons is measured in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7TeV with the CMS detector at the LHC. A data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36 pb(-1) is analysed. A next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD calculation is compared to the measurements. A discrepancy is observed for regions of the phase space where the two photons have an azimuthal angle difference Delta phi less than or sim...
