The Garzan Formation is one of the most prolificreservoirs in southeast Turkey. It crops out only inthe center of the Gercus Anticline. A field studywas conducted in July 2015 in order to examine theGarzan successions in situ. The study area is seatedin Konak Village, near Gercus County, Batman. TheWell F is located at the western side of the field studyarea. This well is studied to compare and contrast thesedimentological properties of the Garzan Formation atthe outcrop with the subsurface extent.
