The popularity of rooftop solar power generation systems is increasing with the spread of topics such as climate and energy crises and sustainable energy. However, it is not possible for each of these systems to have a metering infrastructure due to economic and computational burden. The unobservability of these systems makes it difficult for the Distribution System Operator (DSO) to operate the distribution network within certain operational limits. In order for the DSO to manage the system effectively, a Gaussian distribution based estimation method utilizing a limited number of measurements is proposed. This proposed method takes into account the uncertain characteristic of solar power generation and predicts within a certain margin of error.
