Construction of self dual codes from graphs
Fellah, Nazahet; Guenda, Kenza; Özbudak, Ferruh; Seneviratne, Padmapani (2022-07-01)
In this work we define and study binary codes C-q,C-k and (C-q,C-k) over bar obtained from neighbor- hood designs of Paley-type bipartite graphs P(q, k) and their complements, respectively for q an odd prime. We prove that for some values of q and k the codes C-q,C-k are self-dual and the codes (C-q,C-k) over bar are self-orthogonal. Most of these codes tend to be with optimal or near optimal parameters. Next, we extend the codes C(q,k )to get doubly even self dual codes and find that most of these codes ar...
Construction of quasi-cyclic self-dual codes
Çomak, Pınar; Özbudak, Ferruh; Kim, Jon-Lark; Department of Cryptography (2013)
Quasi-cyclic and self-dual codes are interesting classes of linear codes. Quasi-cyclic codes are linear codes which takes maximum possible value of minimum distance among the codes with the same length and same dimension. Another class of interesting linear codes is the self-dual codes. Self-dual codes have close connections with group theory, lattice theory and design theory. There has been an active research on the classi fication of self-dual codes over fi nite fi elds and over rings. We study on constru...

Characterization of Riesz Spaces with Topologically Full Center
Alpay, Safak; Orhon, Mehmet (2013-07-26)
Let E be a Riesz space and let E-similar to denote its order dual. The orthomorphisms Orth(E) on E, and the ideal center Z(E) of E, are naturally embedded in Orth(E-similar to) and Z(E-similar to) respectively. We construct two unital algebra and order- continuous Riesz homomorphisms.
