The radiative ? ? p0p0?, ? ? p0p0?, ? ? p+p-? and ? ? p+p-? decays are studied by adding the effect of vector meson mixing to the amplitude of these decays. For the above decays we consider only ? - ? mixing. In addition to the ? - ? mixing, we also analyse the contributions coming from different intermediate states to examine the decay mechanism of these decays in a phenomenological framework. For ? ? p0p0? decay, we consider the contributions of the ?-meson and s-meson intermediate states and of the kaon-loop, and for the ? ? p0p0? decay we calculate the amplitude using the contributions of the ?-meson and s-meson intermediate states and pion-loop. Moreover, the radiative ? ? p+p-? decay is studied by considering the contributions of s-meson and ?-meson intermediate states and the decay ? ? p+p-? is investigated by taking into account the contributions of bremmsstrahlung, pion-loop and s- meson intermediate state amplitude. We also estimate the coupling constant g?s? utilizing the latest experimental value of the branching ratio ? ? p0p0?.

g(rho sigma gamma) coupling constant in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savci, M (2002-04-01)
The coupling constant g(rhosigmagamma) is determined from light cone QCD sum rules. A comparison of our result with the ones existing in the literature is presented.
New hidden beauty molecules predicted by the local hidden gauge approach and heavy quark spin symmetry
Xiao, C. W.; Özpineci, Altuğ; Oset, E. (2010-06-24)
Using a coupled channel unitary approach, combining the heavy quark spin symmetry and the dynamics of the local hidden gauge, we investigate the meson-meson interaction with hidden beauty. We obtain several new states of isospin I = 0: six bound states, and weakly bound six more possible states which depend on the influence of the coupled channel effects.
A linear variation of the thermal expansivity with the isothermal compressibility for ammonia solid III near the melting point
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (2010-01-01)
The thermal expansivity alpha (p) is related to isothermal compressibility kappa (T) at various pressures for constant temperatures of 254.6, 274 and 297.5 K close to the melting pressure in ammonia solid III. By analyzing the experimental data for kappa (T) according to a power-law formula, a linear variation of alpha (p) with the kappa (T) is established here close to the solid-liquid transition in ammonia. Anomalous behavior of thermal expansivity alpha (p) and the isothermal compressibility kappa (T) ne...
RADIATIVE D-ASTERISK MESON DECAYS IN QCD SUM-RULES
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; PAK, NK (1994-08-11)
The radiative decays D(a)* - D(a)gamma is investigated in the framework of QCD sum rules. The transition amplitude and decay rates are estimated. It is shown that our results on branching ratios are in good agreement with the existing experimental data.
The quantitative relationship between structure and polarized spectroscopy in the FMO complex of Prosthecochloris aestuarii: refining experiments and simulations
Wendling, M; Przyjalgowski, MA; Gulen, D; Vulto, SIE; Aartsma, TJ; van Grondelle, R; van Amerongen, H (2002-01-01)
New absorption, linear dichroism (LD) and circular dichroism (CD) measurements at low temperatures on the Fenna-Matthews-Olson complex from Prosthecochloris aestuarii are presented. Furthermore, the anisotropy of fluorescence excitation spectra is measured and used to determine absolute LD spectra, i.e. corrected for the degree of orientation of the sample. In contrast to previous studies, this allows comparison of not only the shape but also the amplitude of the measured spectra with that calculated by mea...
