Lax tensors and separable coordinates in (2+1) dimensions
Baleanu, D; Baskal, S (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2000-11-01)
We study the Lax tensors of the separable coordinates in (2+1) dimensions. The Lax tensors of the dual manifolds are investigated.
Bergman projections on Besov spaces on balls
Kaptanoglu, HT (Duke University Press, 2005-06-01)
Extended Bergman projections from Lebesgue classes onto all Besov spaces on the unit ball are defined and characterized. Right inverses and adjoints of the projections share the property that they are imbeddings of Besov spaces into Lebesgue classes via certain combinations of radial derivatives. Applications to the Gleason problem at arbitrary points in the ball, duality, and complex interpolation in Besov spaces are obtained. The results apply, in particular, to the Hardy space H-2, the Arveson space, the...
Clifford-based spectral action and renormalization group analysis of the gauge couplings
Aydemir, Ufuk (2019-4-01)
The Spectral Action Principle in noncommutative geometry derives the actions of the Standard Model and General Relativity (along with several other gravitational terms) by reconciling them in a geometric setting, and hence offers an explanation for their common origin. However, one of the requirements in the minimal formalism, unification of the gauge coupling constants, is not satisfied, since the basic construction does not introduce anything new that can change the renormalization group (RG) running of t...
HAMILTON-JACOBI DYNAMICS FOR THE SOLUTION OF TIME-DEPENDENT QUANTUM PROBLEMS .2. WAVE-PACKET PROPAGATION IN 2-DIMENSIONAL, NONLINEARLY COUPLED OSCILLATORS - EXACT AND TIME-DEPENDENT SCF-SOLUTIONS
GUNKEL, T; BAR, HJ; ENGEL, M; YURTSEVER, E; BRICKMANN, J (1994-12-01)
Methods for the approximate numerical integration of the time dependent Schrodinger equation with given initial conditions (the initial wave packet) are presented. The methods are based on the Schrodinger representation of the quantum dynamic system. The quantum dynamic equations are transformed into Hamilton-Jacobi type equations of motion as they occur in multi particle classical dynamics, i.e. standard techniques in molecular dynamics can be applied for the integration. The dynamics of minimum uncerta...
