In quark model, the strange axial vector mesons K1(1270) and K1(1400) are defined as the mixtures of orbital angular momentum states K1A and K1B. In this work, by using the orthogonality of the mass eigenstates, we have estimated the K1(1270, 1400) mixing angle θK1, where we have found that θK1 sime −(39 ± 4)°.

Hermitian and gauge-covariant Hamiltonians for a particle in a magnetic field on cylindrical and spherical surfaces
Shikakhwa, M. S.; Chair, N. (IOP Publishing, 2017-01-01)
We construct the Hermitian Schrodinger Hamiltonian of spin-less particles and the gauge-covariant Pauli Hamiltonian of spin one-half particles in a magnetic field, which are confined to cylindrical and spherical surfaces. The approach does not require the use of involved differential-geometrical methods and is intuitive and physical, relying on the general requirements of Hermicity and gauge-covariance. The surfaces are embedded in the full three-dimensional space and confinement to the surfaces is achieved...
Theoretical investigation of charge accumulation layer on the Bi-induced InAs(111)-(2 x 2) surface
Ozkaya, S.; Usanmaz, D.; ÇAKMAK, MELEK; Alkan, B.; Ellialtıoğlu, Süleyman Şinasi (AIP Publishing, 2014-04-28)
Based on pseudopotential method and density functional theory, we have investigated the stability, atomic geometry, and detailed electronic structures for Bi adsorbates on the InAs(111)-(2 x 2) surface with three different sites: (i) T-4 (Bi trimer centered on T-4 site), (ii) H-3 (Bi trimer centered on H-3 site), and (iii) T-4-H-3 (which is formed by trimers with opposite orientations: one centered on a T-4 site and the other on a H-3). Our total energy calculations suggest that adsorption on the T-4-H-3 si...
Approximate solution to the time-dependent Kratzer plus screened Coulomb potential in the Feinberg-Horodecki equation
Farout, Mahmoud; Sever, Ramazan; Ikhdair, Sameer M. (IOP Publishing, 2020-06-01)
We obtain the quantized momentum eigenvalues P-n together with space-like coherent eigenstates for the space-like counterpart of the Schrodinger equation, the Feinberg-Horodecki equation, with a combined Kratzer potential plus screened coulomb potential which is constructed by temporal counterpart of the spatial form of these potentials. The present work is illustrated with two special cases of the general form: the time-dependent modified Kratzer potential and the time-dependent screened Coulomb potential.
Studies of Charm Quark Diffusion inside Jets Using Pb-Pb and pp Collisions at root s(NN)=5.02 TeV
Sirunyan, A. M.; et. al. (American Physical Society (APS), 2020-09-01)
The first study of charm quark diffusion with respect to the jet axis in heavy ion collisions is presented. The measurement is performed using jets with p(T)(jet) > 60 GeV/c and D-0 mesons with p(T)(D) > 4 GeV/c in lead-lead (Pb-Pb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of root s(NN) = 5.02 TeV, recorded by the CMS detector at the LHC. The radial distribution of D-0 mesons with respect to the jet axis is sensitive to the production mechanisms of the meson, as well as t...
CHAOTIC ELECTRON TRAJECTORIES IN ELECTROMAGNETIC WIGGLER FREE-ELECTRON LASER WITH A GUIDE MAGNETIC-FIELD
BILIKMEN, S; OMAR, A (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1994-05-01)
The Hamiltonian for an electron travelling through a large-amplitude backward electromagnetic wave, an axial guide magnetic field and radiation field is formulated. Poincare surface-of-section plots show that this Hamiltonian is non-integrable, and leads to chaotic trajectories. Equilibrium conditions are derived in the limit where the radiation field approaches zero. Compared to conventional FEL, the total energy of the system at pondermotive resonance E(c) is large, while the electron's critical energy...
