Magnetic Moments of 70-Plet Baryons in Quark Model and QCD Sum Rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb (2015-01-01)
Magnetic moments of the positive parity 70-plet baryons are estimated in the framework of the nonrelativistic quark model and QCD sum rules method. It is found that the magnetic moments of the 70-plet baryons can be expressed in terms of the F and D couplings and exhibit unitary symmetry. The QCD sum rules for the magnetic moments of the 70-plet octet baryons are formulated. A comparison of our results on magnetic moments of 56-plet and 70-plet baryons predicted from QCD sum rules is presented.
Magnetic and quadrupole moments of light spin-1 mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2009-08-03)
The magnetic and quadrupole moments of the light-vector and axial-vector mesons are calculated in the light cone QCD sum rules. Our results for the static properties of these mesons are compared with the predictions of lattice QCD as well as other approaches existing in the literature. (C) 2009 Published by Elsevier B.V.
Strong coupling constants of the octet baryons to Kand pi mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (2007-06-20)
In this work, the strong coupling constants of the octet baryons to the K and pi mesons are studied within the Light Cone QCD sum rule method. It is well known that in the SU(3)(f) limit, these couplings can be expressed in terms of only 2 constants, so called F and D constants. In this work, the SU(3)(f) symmetry violating effects are also studied and it is shown that all the coupling constants can be expressed in terms of four analytical functions of the quark parameters.
Phenomenology of the Heavy Flavored Spin 3/2 Baryons in Light Cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (2008-10-02)
Motivated by the results of the recent experimental discoveries for charm and bottom baryons, the masses and magnetic moments of the heavy baryons with J(P) = 3/2(+) containing a single heavy quark are Studied within light Cone QCD sum rules method. Our results on the masses of heavy baryons are in good agreement with predictions of other approaches, as well as with the existing experimental data.
Axial vector transition form factors of N -> Delta in QCD
Küçükarslan, Ayşe; Özdem, Ulaş; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2016-12)
The isovector axial vector form factors of N -> Delta transition are calculated by employing Light-cone QCD sum rules. The analytical results are analyzedby both the conventional method, and also by a Monte Carlo based approach which allows one to scan all of the parameter space. The predictions are also compared with the results in the literature, where available. Although the MonteCarlo analysis predicts large uncertainties in the predicted results, the predictions obtained by the conventional analysis ar...
