The magnetic moments of the low lying, negative parity, spin-3/2 baryons, including the Lambda* baryon, are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. The contributions coming from the positive parity, spin -3/2 baryons, as well as from the positive and negative parity spin -1/2 baryons are eliminated by constructing combinations of various invariant amplitudes corresponding to the coefficients of the different Lorentz structures. We also present the results for the magnetic moments of the positive parity, spin -3/2 baryons.

Using the general form of Sigma(Q) and Lambda(Q) (Q=b or c) currents, Sigma(Q)Lambda(Q) transition magnetic moments are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. In this approach nonperturbative effects are described by the photon wave functions and only two-particle photon wave functions are taken into account. Magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light and heavy tensor mesons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. Magnetic Moments of 70-Plet Baryons in Quark Model and QCD Sum Rules

Magnetic moments of the positive parity 70-plet baryons are estimated in the framework of the nonrelativistic quark model and QCD sum rules method. It is found that the magnetic moments of the 70-plet baryons can be expressed in terms of the F and D couplings and exhibit unitary symmetry. The QCD sum rules for the magnetic moments of the 70-plet octet baryons are formulated. A comparison of our results on magnetic moments of 56-plet and 70-plet baryons predicted from QCD sum rules is presented.

Diagonal and transition magnetic moments of the negative parity, spin-1/2 heavy baryons are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. By constructing the sum rules for different Lorentz structures, the unwanted contributions coming from negative-to-positive (positive-to-negative) parity transitions are removed.
