We examine the sensitivity of the particle spectrum to the parameters of the U(1)'-extended MSSM with R-parity violation. This model provides a simultaneous solution to both the mu-problem and the proton decay problem which plague the MSSM. We focus on variations of neutralino, chargino and Higgs boson masses in various lepton number violations couplings, scanning over all the space to find allowed regions of the parameter space consistent with the experimental constraints for these masses.

Multidimensional quantum tunneling in the Schwinger effect
Dumlu, Cesim K. (American Physical Society (APS), 2016-03-22)
We study the Schwinger effect, in which the external field having a spatiotemporal profile creates electron-positron pairs via multidimensional quantum tunneling. Our treatment is based on the trace formula for the QED effective action, whose imaginary part is represented by a sum over complex worldline solutions. The worldlines are multiperiodic, and the periods of motion collectively depend on the strength of spatial and temporal inhomogeneity. We argue that the classical action that leads to the correct ...
Optical response of Lorentzian nanospheres in the quasistatic limit
Gulen, Demet (2012-03-01)
Significance of the Lorentzian dispersion relationship in controlling the optical response of the nanospheres surrounded by a homogeneous non-absorbing dielectric medium is examined. Nanospheres with size much smaller than the wavelength of the incident light are considered as prototype systems that can cover the generic optical response of Lorentzian nanoparticles. Absorption cross-section of the Lorentzian nanospheres is treated in the quasistatic approximation of classical electrodynamics and the resulti...
Isospin invariance and the spin structure of the amplitude for the process H-3+He-3->d(2)H+He-4
Yalcin, C; Rekalo, MP; Koru, H (1996-06-01)
We analyzed the general form of all polarization effects in the H-3 + He-3 --> d(2)H + He-4 reaction. For this aim, we parametrized the spin structure of the full amplitude in terms of the transverse amplitudes which describe the different transitions between initial and final states, which in turn are differed by projections of nuclei spins along the normal to the reaction plane. The isospin invariance of the strong interaction generates definite symmetry properties of the transverse amplitudes relative to...
Radiative Delta -> N gamma decay in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (1999-12-01)
The g(Delta N gamma) coupling for the Delta-->N gamma decay is calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules and is found to be g(Delta N gamma)=(1.6+/-0.2) GeV-1. Using this value of g(Delta N gamma) we estimate the branching ratio of the Delta(+)-->N gamma decay, which is in a very good agreement with the experimental result. [S0556-2821(99)02023-8].
Spontaneous polarization close to phase transitions in NaNO2
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Tari, O (2001-08-01)
We give here the calculation of the order parameter and the spontaneous polarization as functions of temperature using the mean field model close to the phase transitions in NaNO2. We have fitted our calculated order parameter to the observed one from the literature. From this fitting, we have then calculated the spontaneous polarization as a function of temperature close to the phase transitions in NaNO2. Our calculated spontaneous polarization is in good agreement with the observed spontaneous polarizatio...
