We analyzed the general form of all polarization effects in the H-3 + He-3 --> d(2)H + He-4 reaction. For this aim, we parametrized the spin structure of the full amplitude in terms of the transverse amplitudes which describe the different transitions between initial and final states, which in turn are differed by projections of nuclei spins along the normal to the reaction plane. The isospin invariance of the strong interaction generates definite symmetry properties of the transverse amplitudes relative to the change cos theta-->-cos theta, where theta is the deuteron production angle in the c.m.s. We found all symmetry relations for the polarization observables in the H-3 + He-3 --> d(2)H + He-4 reaction, which are the generalized form of the well-known Barshay-Temmer theorem. We consider the one-, two-, and triple-spin correlations in H-3 +He-3 --> d(2)H + He-4. For analysis of the triple-spin correlations, we focus on the structure functions formalism and show that a set of 41 structure functions describes all such correlations. Isospin invariance simplifies the spin structure of the full amplitude at theta=90 degrees; therefore, we calculated all polarization observables for this special kinematics.

Nonperturbative effects in polarization phenomena for B->K*+gamma and B->K+pi+gamma decays
Pak, Namık Kemal; Rekalo, MP (1997-04-10)
Polarization characteristics of gamma-quanta, produced in decays B --> K* + gamma and B --> K + pi + gamma are studied in a general parity non-conserving framework. Polarization characteristics of gamma quanta for perturbative (i.e. shea distance) part of the matrix element of these decays are shown to be universal, independent of the process. Nonperturbative effects however violate such universality. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
Pseudorapidity dependence of long-range two-particle correlations in pPb collisions at root sNN=5.02 TeV
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (2017-07-01)
Two-particle correlations in pPb collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV are studied as a function of the pseudorapidity separation (Delta eta) of the particle pair at small relative azimuthal angle (|Delta phi| < pi/3). The correlations are decomposed into a jet component that dominates the short-range correlations (|Delta eta| < 1), and a component that persists at large Delta eta and may originate from collective behavior of the produced system. The events are classified in term...
Nonlinear effects in proline-thiourea host-guest complex catalyzed aldol reactions in nonpolar solvents
Demir, Ayhan Sıtkı; Eymur, Serkan (Elsevier BV, 2010-03-16)
An aldol reaction catalyzed by a proline-thiourea host-guest complex in a nonpolar solvent shows excellent nonlinear effects. This proline-thiourea system has the ability to form a hydrogen-bonding network. The enantiomeric excess of proline in a solution can be significantly enhanced by its incorporation with a urea molecule into its solid racemate. This suggests a general and facile route to homochirality, which may be involved in the origin of chirality on earth.
Short-range correlations in a one-dimensional electron gas
Tas, M; Tomak, Mehmet (American Physical Society (APS), 2003-06-15)
We use the Singwi-Sjolander-Tosi-Land (SSTL) approximation to investigate the short-range correlations in a one-dimensional electron gas. We find out that the SSTL approximation satisfies the compressibility sum rule somewhat better than the more widely used Singwi-Tosi-Land-Sjolander approximation in the case of a one-dimensional electron gas.
General analysis of polarization phenomena in inclusive and semi-inclusive radiative decays of B mesons
Pak, Namık Kemal; Rekalo, MP; Yilmaz, T (IOP Publishing, 2000-07-01)
Polarization characteristics of photons produced in inclusive and semi-inclusive radiative decays of B mesons, B --> gamma + X-s, B --> gamma + h + X', are described in a general model-independent framework, using the structure function formalism.
