We calculate the strong coupling constants g(p**p*pi), where P** (D**, B**) is the 1(+) p-wave state, in the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules, and using these values of g(p**p*pi), we compute the hadronic decay widths for D** --> D*pi and B** --> B*pi.

THE G(B)ASTERISK(B-PI) COUPLING-CONSTANT IN QCD SUM-RULES
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; ILTAN, E; PAK, NK (1995-05-25)
The decay constant for the strong off-shell B* --> B pi decay in the context of QCD sum rules is calculated.
Approximate Pseudospin and Spin Solutions of the Dirac Equation for a Class of Exponential Potentials
Arda, Altug; Sever, Ramazan; TEZCAN, CEVDET (2010-02-01)
The Dirac equation is solved for some exponential potentials the hypergeometric-type potential, the generalized Morse potential, and the Poschl-Teller potential with any spin-orbit quantum number kappa in the case of spin and pseudospin symmetry. We have approximated for non s-waves the centrifugal term by an exponential form. The energy eigenvalue equations and the corresponding wave functions are obtained by using a generalization of the Nikiforov-Uvarov method.
The gK(0)(*)K pi coupling constant in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2001-01-01)
The strong coupling constant g kappa (0)*kappa pi of the scalar K-0* meson decay to K pi is calculated in light cone QCD sum rule. The predicted value of the coupling constant g kappa (0)*kappa pi is in a good agreement with the experimental result.
An integral equation approach to the computation of nonlinear fields in electrical machines
Kükrer, Osman; Ertan, H. Bülnet (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 1988-7)
A numerical method based on an integral equation formulation, for the computation of nonlinear magnetostatic field, in two dimensions in cylindrical polar coordinates is given. The correctness of the method is illustrated by solving two linear two-dimensional magnetic field problems which have readily available analytical solutions. The dependence of the accuracy of the solution on the number and distribution of the meshes is studied on these examples. The method is then applied to the computation of the no...
The Sigma(0)Lambda transition magnetic moment in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2001-09-20)
Using the general form of the Sigma (0) and Lambda currents, the Sigma (0)Lambda transition magnetic moment is calculated in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. A comparison of our result on this quantity with the existing theoretical results and experimental data is presented.
