Excited heavy masons decay form factors in light cone QCD

The form factors of B-1 --> pi and D-1 --> pi transitions, where B-1(D-1) is the 1(+) P-wave <(Q)over bar gamma(nu)gamma(5)q> meson state, are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD. Furthermore, these form factors are compared with the pole dominance model prediction using the values of the strong coupling constants g(B1B*pi) and g(D1D*pi), and a good agreement between these two different descriptions is observed. The strong coupling constants of the pi and K mesons with negative parity octet baryons are estimated within the light cone QCD sum rules. Dualisation of the general scalar coset in supergravity theories

The dualised formulation of the symmetric space sigma model is peformed for a general scalar coset G/K where G is a maximally non-compact group and K is it's maximal compact subgroup. By using the twisted self-duality condition the general form of the first-order equations are obtained. The results are applied to the example of SL(2, R)/SO(2) scalar manifold of the IIB supergravity.

The first-order formulation of the Salam-Sezgin D = 8 supergravity coupled to N vector multiplets is discussed.
