The form factors relevant to B-q -> D-q*(J(P) = 1(-))l nu (q = s, d, u) decays are calculated in the framework of the three point QCD sum rules approach. The heavy quark effective theory prediction of the form factors as well as 1/m(b) corrections to those form factors are obtained. A comparison of the results for the ratio of form factors at zero recoil limit and other values of q(2) with the predictions of the subleading Isgur-Wise form factor application for B -> D*l nu is presented. The total decay width and branching ratio for these decays are also evaluated using the q(2) dependencies of these form factors. The results are in good agreement with the constituent quark meson model and existing experimental data. The q = s case can also be detected at LHC in the near future.

Semileptonic B-c(-) -> D(*0)l nu transition in three-point QCD sum rules and heavy quark effective theory with gluon condensate corrections
Ghahramany, N.; Khosravi, R.; Azizi, K. (American Physical Society (APS), 2008-12-01)
Taking into account the gluon condensate contributions, the form factors of the semileptonic B-c(-) -> D(*0)l nu transition with l = tau, e are calculated in the framework of the three-point QCD sum rules. The heavy quark effective theory limit of the form factors is also computed. The relevant total decay width as well as the branching ratio are evaluated and compared with the predictions of the other nonperturbative approaches.
Semileptonic D-q -> K-1 center dot nu and nonleptonic D -> K-1 pi decays in three-point QCD sum rules and factorization approach
Khosravi, R.; Azizi, K.; Ghahramany, N. (American Physical Society (APS), 2009-02-01)
We analyze the semileptonic D-q -> K-1 center dot nu transition with q=u, d, s, in the framework of the three-point QCD sum rules and the nonleptonic D -> K-1 pi decay within the QCD factorization approach. We study D-q to K-1(1270) and K-1(1400) transition form factors by separating the mixture of the K-1(1270) and K-1(1400) states. Using the transition form factors of the D -> K-1, we analyze the nonleptonic D -> K-1 pi decay. We also present the decay amplitude and decay width of these decays in terms of...
Scalar form factor of the nucleon and nucleon-scalar meson coupling constant in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2007-02-01)
Scalar form factor of the nucleon is calculated in the framework of light-cone QCD sum rules, using the most general form of the baryon current. Using the result on scalar form factor of the nucleon, the nucleon-scalar sigma and a(0) meson coupling constants are estimated. Our results on these couplings are in good agreement with the prediction of the external-field QCD sum rules method.
Dualisation of the Salam-Sugin D-8 supergravity
Dereli, T; Yilmaz, NT (Elsevier BV, 2004-07-19)
The first-order formulation of the Salam-Sezgin D = 8 supergravity coupled to N vector multiplets is discussed. The non-linear realization of the bosonic sector of the D = 8 matter coupled Salam-Sezgin supergravity is introduced by the dualisation of the fields and by constructing the Lie superalgebra of the symmetry group of the doubled field strength. Dualisation of the general scalar coset in supergravity theories
Yilmaz, NT (Elsevier BV, 2003-08-04)
The dualised formulation of the symmetric space sigma model is peformed for a general scalar coset G/K where G is a maximally non-compact group and K is it's maximal compact subgroup. By using the twisted self-duality condition the general form of the first-order equations are obtained. The results are applied to the example of SL(2, R)/SO(2) scalar manifold of the IIB supergravity.
