Pseudoscalar-meson decuplet-baryon coupling constants in light cone QCD

2009-11-01
Taking into account the SU(3)(f) breaking effects, the strong coupling constants of the pi, K, and eta mesons with decuplet baryons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that all coupling constants, even in the case of SU(3)(f) breaking, are described in terms of only one universal function. It is shown that for Xi(*0)->Xi(*0)eta, transition violation of SU(3)(f) symmetry is very large and for other channels when SU(3)(f) symmetry is violated, its maximum value constitutes 10%divided by 15%.

QCD sum rule analysis of the rare radiative B(c)-> D(s)*gamma decay
Azizi, K.; Bashiry, V. (American Physical Society (APS), 2007-12-01)
In this work, the radiative B(c)-> D(s)(*)gamma decay is investigated in the framework of QCD sum rules. The transition form factors responsible for the decay are calculated. The total branching ratio for this decay is estimated to be in the order of 10(-5), so this decay can be measurable at LHC in the near future.
QCD sum rules for the anticharmed pentaquark
Sarac, Y; Kim, H; Lee, SH (American Physical Society (APS), 2006-01-01)
We present a QCD sum rule analysis for the anticharmed pentaquark state with and without strangeness. While the sum rules for most of the currents are either nonconvergent or dominated by the DN continuum, the one for the nonstrange pentaquark current composed of two diquarks and an antiquark is convergent and has a structure consistent with a positive-parity pentaquark state after subtracting out the DN continuum contribution. Arguments are presented on the similarity between the result of the present anal...
Measurement of the Lambda(0)(b) lifetime and mass in the ATLAS experiment
Aad, G.; et. al. (American Physical Society (APS), 2013-02-04)
A measurement of the Lambda(0)(b) lifetime and mass in the decay channel Lambda(0)(b) -> J/psi (mu(+) mu(-))Lambda(0)(p pi(-)) is presented. The analysis uses a signal sample of about 2200 Lambda(0)(b) and (Lambda) over bar (0)(b) decays that are reconstructed in 4.9 fb(-1) of ATLAS pp collision data collected in 2011 at the LHC center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. A simultaneous mass and decay time maximum likelihood fit is used to extract the Lambda(0)(b) lifetime and mass. They are measured to be tau(Lambda b...
Measurement of the Lambda(0)(b) lifetime in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2013-07-01)
A measurement of the Lambda(0)(b) lifetime using the decay Lambda(0)(b) -> J/psi Lambda in protonproton collisions at root s = 7TeV is presented. The data set, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 5 fb(-1), was recorded with the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider using triggers that selected dimuon events in the J/psi mass region. The Lambda(0)(b) lifetime is measured to be 1.503 +/- 0.052 (stat.) +/- 0.031 (syst.) ps
Self-dual solutions of Yang-Mills theory on Euclidean AdS space
Sarıoğlu, Bahtiyar Özgür; Tekin, Bayram (American Physical Society (APS), 2009-05-01)
We find nontrivial, time-dependent solutions of the (anti) self-dual Yang-Mills equations in the four-dimensional Euclidean anti-de Sitter space. In contrast to the Euclidean flat space, the action depends on the moduli parameters and the charge can take any noninteger value.
