In this work, the radiative B(c)-> D(s)(*)gamma decay is investigated in the framework of QCD sum rules. The transition form factors responsible for the decay are calculated. The total branching ratio for this decay is estimated to be in the order of 10(-5), so this decay can be measurable at LHC in the near future.

Pseudoscalar-meson decuplet-baryon coupling constants in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (American Physical Society (APS), 2009-11-01)
Taking into account the SU(3)(f) breaking effects, the strong coupling constants of the pi, K, and eta mesons with decuplet baryons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. It is shown that all coupling constants, even in the case of SU(3)(f) breaking, are described in terms of only one universal function. It is shown that for Xi(*0)->Xi(*0)eta, transition violation of SU(3)(f) symmetry is very large and for other channels when SU(3)(f) symmetry is violated, its maximum value constitutes 1...
Event activity dependence of (nS) production in=5.02 TeV pPb and=2.76 TeV pp collisions
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2014-04-01)
The production of (1S), (2S), and (3S) is investigated in pPb and pp collisions at centre-of-mass energies per nucleon pair of 5.02 TeV and 2.76 TeV, respectively. The datasets correspond to integrated luminosities of about 31 nb(-1) (pPb) and 5.4 pb(-1) (pp), collected in 2013 by the CMS experiment at the LHC. Upsilons that decay into muons are reconstructed within the rapidity interval |y (CM)| < 1.93 in the nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass frame. Their production is studied as a function of two measures of...
Measurement of the cross section for production of b(b)over-barX decaying to muons in pp collisions at root s=7TeV
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2012-06-01)
A measurement of the inclusive cross section for the process pp -> b (b) over barX -> mu mu X' at root s = 7TeV is presented, based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 27.9 pb(-1) collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. By selecting pairs of muons each with pseudorapidity vertical bar eta vertical bar bX -> mu mu X') = 26.4 +/- 0.1 (stat.) +/- 2.4 (syst.) +/- 1.1 (lumi.) nb is obtained for muons with transverse momentum p(T) > 4 GeV, and 5.12 +/- 0.03 (stat.) +/- 0.48 (syst.) ...
Exclusive B -> Ml(+)l(-) (M = pi, K, rho, K*) decays and determinations of vertical bar V-ts vertical bar (and vertical bar V-td/V-ts vertical bar)
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savci, M (Elsevier BV, 1998-11-26)
We examine the possibility for precise determination of /V-ts/ (and /V-td/V-ts/) from the exclusive decays, B --> Kl(+)l(-), B --> K*l(+)l(-) (and B --> pi l(+)l(-), B --> rho l(+)l(-)). We show that the ratio /V-ts/ can be extracted experimentally with a small theoretical uncertainty from hadronic form-factors, if we appropriately constrain kinematical regions of q(2). We also give detailed analytical and numerical results on the differential decay width d Gamma(B --> K*l(+)l(-))/dq(2), and the ratios of i...
HIGHER-DERIVATIVE EFFECTIVE YANG-MILLS THEORY AND STATIC SPHERICALLY SYMMETRICAL FIELD CONFIGURATIONS
BASKAL, S; DERELI, T (IOP Publishing, 1993-04-01)
The variational field equations and the covariantly conserved energy-momentum tensor of a higher-derivative effective Yang-Mills theory are given. A class of static spherically symmetric gauge field configurations that follow from the Wu-Yang ansatz is considered.
