Thermoluminescence properties of Tl2Ga2S3Se layered single crystals

The trap center(s) in Tl2Ga2S3Se single crystals has been investigated from thermoluminescence (TL) measurements in the temperature range of 10-300 K. Curve fitting, initial rise, and peak shape methods were applied to observed TL glow curve to evaluate the activation energy, capture cross section, and attempt-to-escape frequency of the trap center. One trapping center has been revealed with activation energy of 16 meV. Moreover, the characteristics of trap distribution have been studied using an experimental technique based on different illumination temperature. An increase of activation energy from 16 to 58 meV was revealed for the applied illumination temperature range of 10-25K. (C) 2013 AIP Publishing LLC.

We have solved the Schrodinger equation with the modified Kratzer plus screened Coulomb potential using the modified factorization method. We have also employed both the Greene-Aldrich approximation scheme and a suitable transformation scheme to obtain the energy eigenvalues equation and its corresponding energy eigenfunctions for CO, NO, and N-2 diatomic molecules. The C-20 cage structure (X@C-20; X = Fe, Co, Ni) endohedrally doped with a metal atom has been investigated theoretically by performing molecular-mechanics optimizations, and semi-empirical PM3 level and density functional theory B3LYP/6-31G* level calculations within UHF formalism. Calculations have been performed with different spin configurations for the neutral systems.
Exact solution of the Klein-Gordon equation for the PT-symmetric generalized Woods-Saxon potential by the Nikiforov-Uvarov method

The exact solution of the one-dimensional Klein-Gordon equation of the PT-symmetric generalized Woods-Saxon potential is obtained. The exact energy eigenvalues and wavefunctions are derived analytically by using the Nikiforov and Uvarov method. Anti-de Sitter-Wave Solutions of Higher Derivative Theories

We show that the recently found anti-de Sitter (AdS)-plane and AdS-spherical wave solutions of quadratic curvature gravity also solve the most general higher derivative theory in D dimensions. More generally, we show that the field equations of such theories reduce to an equation linear in the Ricci tensor for Kerr-Schild spacetimes having type-N Weyl and type-N traceless Ricci tensors.
