The exclusive B ->pi l(+)l(-) and B ->rho l(+)l(-) decays in the general two Higgs doublet model

2002-02-01
We study the differential branching ratio, branching ratio and the forward-backward asymmetry for the exclusive B --> pil(+)l(-) and B --> rhol(+)l(-) decays in the general two Higgs doublet model including the neutral Higgs boson erects. We analyze the dependencies of these quantities on the neutral Higgs boson contributions and the other model parameters. We observe that two Higgs doublet model with the neutral Higgs boson exchanges gives quite sizable contributions to these observables for both channels we consider. Since the neutral Higgs boson exchanges are the only source of the forward-backward asymmetry for B --> pitau(+)tau -decay, which is at the order of magnitude 1 - 10%, measurement of this observable is promising to determine the neutral Higgs boson erects.

The mu -> e gamma and tau ->mu gamma decays in the general two Higgs doublet model with the inclusion of one universal extra dimension
Iltan, EO (2004-02-01)
We study the effect of one universal extra dimension on the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu --> egamma and tau --> mugamma in the general two Higgs doublet model. We observe that these new effects are tiny for the small values of the compactification radius R. Furthermore, we see that these effects are comparable with the branching ratio obtained without including extra dimension, if the neutral Higgs bosons are nearly degenerate and the complexity of the Yukawa coupling, induci...
The effects of non-universal extra dimensions on the radiative lepton flavor decays mu -> e gamma and tau ->mu gamma in the two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, EO (2004-08-01)
We study the effect of non-universal extra dimensions on the branching ratios of the lepton flavor violating processes mu --> egamma and tau --> mugamma in the general two Higgs doublet model. We observe that these effects are small for a single extra dimension, however, in the case of two extra dimensions there is a considerable enhancement in the additional contributions.
The exclusive B-s ->phi l(+)l(-) decay in the two Higgs doublet models
Erkol, G; Turan, Gürsevil (2002-11-01)
We study the differential branching ratio, the branching ratio and the forward-backward asymmetry for exclusive B-s --> phil(+)l(-) decay in the two Higgs doublet model. We analyze the dependences of these quantities on the model parameters and show that these observables are highly sensitive to new physics and hence may provide a powerful probe of the SM and beyond.
The exclusive B -> (K, K*)l(+)l(-) decays in a CP softly broken two Higgs doublet model
Erkol, G; Turan, Gürsevil (2002-07-22)
We study the differential branching ratio, forward-backward asymmetry, CP-violating asymmetry, CP-violating asymmetry in the forward-backward asymmetry and polarization asymmetries in the B --> Kl(+)l(-) and B --> K*l(+)l(-) decays in the context of a CP softly broken two Higgs doublet model. We analyze the dependencies of these observables on the model parameters by paying a special attention to the effects of neutral Higgs boson (NHB) exchanges and possible CP-violating effects. We find that NHB effects a...
The exclusive (B)over-bar ->pi e(+)e(-) and (B)over-bar ->rho e(+)e(-) decays in the two Higgs doublet model with flavor changing neutral currents
Iltan, EO (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 1999-10-30)
We present the leading logarithmic QCD corrections to the matrix element of the decay b --> de(+)e(-) in the two Higgs doublet model with tree level flavor changing currents (model III). We continue studying the differential branching ratio and the CP-violating asymmetry for the exclusive decays B --> pi e(+)e(-) and B --> pe(+)e(-) and analysing the dependencies of these quantities on the selected model III parameters, xi(U,D), including the leading logarithmic QCD corrections. Further, we present the forw...
