An 8 x 4 substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) slotted SIW array is designed at 25 GHz to achieve -20 dB side lobe level (SLL). The slotted SIW array is designed monolithically integrated with a novel 1 x 8 power divider which provides -20 dB SLL Taylor distribution weights with uniform phase distribution. The desired SLL is obtained in simulated radiation pattern.

This paper presents the design of a monolithic phased array antenna with DMTL phase shifters on quartz substrate operating at 35 GHz. The design integrates DMTL phase shifters, rectangular slot antennas with the feed network comprising CPW lines, CPW T-junction and corners. On the four branches of the antenna, there are 5-bit phase shifters using 31 MEMS bridges, covering 360° with a resolution of 11.25°.

The capacitance-voltage (C-V) measurements within 10(6)-10(-2) Hz frequency range were performed on the hydrogenated nanocrystalline silicon (nc-Si:H) bottom-gate thin film transistor (TFT) and metal-insulator-amorphous silicon (MIAS) structure, mechanically isolated from the same TFT.
