A method for the calculation of the hadronic mixing angles using QCD sum rules is proposed. This method is then applied to predict the mixing angle between the heavy cascade hyperons Xi(Q) and Xi'Q where Q = c or Q = b. It is obtained the theta(b) = 6.4 degrees +/- 1.8 degrees and theta(c) = 5.5 degrees +/- 1.8 degrees.

Strong Coupling Constants of Heavy Baryons With Light Mesons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2012-06-21)
The strong coupling constants of the heavy spin-1/2 and spin-3/2 baryons with light pseudoscalar and vector mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. Using the symmetry arguments, some structure independent relations among different correlation functions are obtained. It is shown that all possible transitions are described by only one invariant function, whose explicit expression is structure dependent.
Strong coupling constants of heavy spin-3/2 baryons with light pseudoscalar mesons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2011-11-01)
The strong coupling constants among members of the heavy spin-3/2 baryons containing single heavy quark with light pseudoscalar mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. Using symmetry arguments, some structure independent relations among different correlation functions are obtained. It is shown that all possible transitions can be described in terms of one universal invariant function whose explicit expression is Lorenz structure dependent.
Heavy chi(Q) (2) tensor mesons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2010-06-14)
The masses and decay constants of the ground state heavy chi(Q2) (Q = b, c) tensor mesons are calculated in the framework of the QCD sum rules approach. The obtained results on the masses are in good consistency with the experimental values. Our predictions on the decay constants can be verified in the future experiments.
Doubly heavy spin-1/2 baryon spectrum in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2012-12-01)
We calculate the mass and residue of the heavy spin-1/2 baryons containing two heavy h or c quarks in the framework of QCD sum rules. We use the most general form of the interpolating current in its symmetric and anti-symmetric forms with respect to the exchange of heavy quarks, to calculate the two-point correlation functions describing the baryons under consideration. A comparison of the obtained results with existing predictions from various approaches is also made.
Analysis of the radiative decays Sigma(Q) -> Lambda(Q)gamma and Xi '(Q) -> Xi(Q)gamma in light cone sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2016-03-18)
The light cone sum rules method is used in studying the radiative decays Sigma(Q) -> Lambda(Q)gamma and Xi '(Q) -> Xi(Q)gamma First, the sum rules for the form factor F-2(Q(2)=0) responsible for these transitions is constructed. Using this result, the decay widths of the above-mentioned decays are calculated and analyzed. A comparison of our predictions on the decay widths of considered transitions with the predictions of the other approaches is presented.
