It is shown that the experimental study of spin asymmetry in the process e+e- --> Z --> tau+tau- will give direct information on the real tau-nonuniversality due to the mixing of the usual and exotic fermions.

Some of its properties, like the isospin violating decays, can easily be accommodated in a molecular model, whereas its other properties, such as radiative decays can be more naturally explained in the quarkonium picture.
