We investigate the radiative rho (+) --> pi (+)gamma decay in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. We estimate the coupling constant gp,, for this decay and using this value of the coupling constant, we calculate the decay width of the rho (+) --> pi (+)gamma decay. Our result is in good agreement with the experimental value.

Radiative Delta -> N gamma decay in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (1999-12-01)
The g(Delta N gamma) coupling for the Delta-->N gamma decay is calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules and is found to be g(Delta N gamma)=(1.6+/-0.2) GeV-1. Using this value of g(Delta N gamma) we estimate the branching ratio of the Delta(+)-->N gamma decay, which is in a very good agreement with the experimental result. [S0556-2821(99)02023-8].
Magnetic moments of decuplet baryons in light cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2000-09-01)
We calculate the magnetic moments of decuplet baryons containing strange quarks within the framework of light cone QCD sum rules taking into account the SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking effects. It is obtained that magnetic moments of the neutral Sigma(*0) and Xi(*0) baryons are mainly determined by the SU(3) breaking terms. A comparison of our results on the magnetic moments of the decuplet baryons with the predictions of other approaches is presented.
Strong coupling constants of the octet baryons to Kand pi mesons in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (2007-06-20)
In this work, the strong coupling constants of the octet baryons to the K and pi mesons are studied within the Light Cone QCD sum rule method. It is well known that in the SU(3)(f) limit, these couplings can be expressed in terms of only 2 constants, so called F and D constants. In this work, the SU(3)(f) symmetry violating effects are also studied and it is shown that all the coupling constants can be expressed in terms of four analytical functions of the quark parameters.
Radiative decays of negative parity heavy baryons in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules
Agamaliev, A.K.; Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2017-2)
The transition form factors responsible for the radiative Sigma(Q) -> Lambda(Q)gamma and Xi(')(Q) -> Xi(Q)gamma So decays of the negative parity baryons are examined within light cone QCD sum rules. The decay widths of the radiative transitions are calculated using the obtained results of the form factors. A comparison of our predictions on decay widths with the corresponding widths of positive parity baryons is given.
Radiative decays of the p-wave charmed heavy baryons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2019-05-23)
The radiative decays of the p-wave charmed heavy baryons to the ground state baryon states are studied in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules method. Firstly, the transition form factors that describe these transitions are estimated and then, using these form factors, the corresponding decay widths are calculated. A comparison of our results for the decay widths with those predicted by the other approaches existing in the literature is performed.
