We have calculated the differential probability of the radiative decay, tau(-) --> upsilon(tau) + pi(-) + gamma, of the tau-lepton carrying an anomalous magnetic moment. Taking into account both the inner bremsstrahlung and the structure-dependent radiation contributions, we computed the double differential probability. Observables, which are particularly suitable for the full reconstruction of the vector and axial form factors, are identified and implications for the measurement of the anomalous magnetic moment of the tau-lepton are discussed.

Thermodynamics of Lifshitz black holes
Devecioglu, Deniz Olgu; Sarıoğlu, Bahtiyar Özgür (American Physical Society (APS), 2011-06-23)
We apply the recently extended conserved Killing charge definition of Abbott-Deser-Tekin formalism to compute, for the first time, the energies of analytic Lifshitz black holes in higher dimensions. We then calculate the temperature and the entropy of this large family of solutions, and study and discuss the first law of black hole thermodynamics. Along the way we also identify the possible critical points of the relevant quadratic curvature gravity theories. Separately, we also apply the generalized Killin...
The semileptonic B to K-1(1270,1400) decays in QCD sum rules
Dag, H.; Özpineci, Altuğ; Zeyrek, Mehmet Tevfik (IOP Publishing, 2011-01-01)
We analyze the semileptonic rare decays of the B meson to K-1(1270) and K-1(1400) axial vector mesons. The B -> K-1(1270, 1400)l(+)l(-) decays are significant flavor-changing neutral current decays of the B meson. These decays are sensitive to the new physics beyond the standard model (SM), since these processes are forbidden at tree level at SM. These decays occurring at the quark level via b -> sl(+)l(-) transition also provide new opportunities for calculating the CKM matrix elements V-bt and V-ts. In th...
Two Higgs doublet model and lepton polarization in the B -> K tau(+)tau(-) decay
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa; Özpineci, Altuğ (IOP Publishing, 1998-01-01)
The decay width, forward-backward asymmetry and tau lepton longitudinal and transversal polarization for the exclusive B --> K tau(+)tau(-) decay in a two Higgs doubler model are computed. It is shown that the forward-backward asymmetry and longitudinal polarization of the tau lepton are very effective tools for establishing near physics.
The gV sigma gamma coupling constants in hadron electrodynamics
Rekalo, MP; Tomasi-Gustafsson, E (Elsevier BV, 2003-09-22)
Recent measurements of the branching ratios for the decays omega --> pi(0) pi(0)gamma and rho(0) --> pi(0)pi(0)gamma lead to coupling constants of the Vsigmagamma interaction (V is a vector meson) one order of magnitude smaller than previously assumed to describe the threshold cross section of gamma + p --> p + rho(0) and the HERMES effect. The new g(Vsigmagamma)(2) a couplings are in contradiction with the predictions of the QCD sum rules, but are in agreement with vector meson dominance estimation of the ...
Radiative decay of the X(3872) as a mixed molecule-charmonium state in effective field theory
Cincioglu, E.; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2019-10-10)
Assuming that X(3872) is a mixture between 2P charmonium and (D) over barD* molecular states with J(PC) = 1(++), an analysis of X(3872) radiative decays into J/psi gamma and psi(2S)gamma is presented. The modification of the radiative branching ratio due to possible constructive or destructive interferences between the meson-loop and the short-distance contact term, which is modeled by a charm quark loop, is shown. The model predictions are shown to be compatible with the experimentally determined ratio of ...
